I just saw Shep Smith on Fox, talking about the Swift Vets, and saying "hardly any of these guys actually served with Kerry, I mean they were in the same war..." He also has "experts" on the pro-Kerry side and no one on the other side...what's going on with Fox on this issue???

These Swiftboat guys are documenting open-source information and interviewing people that ANY reporter could have interviewed had he just exerted the effort to do it. These same Swiftboat veterans held a one hour press conference in Washington D.C. back in April of this year. Hardly any of the press showed up, and only C-Span covered it. The video of the press conference is available through C-Span, and it offers a much more personal and detailed look at these courageous men and their motivations. Powerful powerful stuff. It makes me wonder how many of the talking heads covering the controversy about the "ad" have even bothered reviewing that press conference.

In each of these cases, he'd still be a part of a larger squadren of men who bunk together, get briefed together, who eat together, and who party together. EXACTLY!!
Kerry's boat was not the ONLY boat on that River

Fox News has been compromised by their COO who is campaigning for kerry.
His political activities have compromised the fair and balance of fox far to the far left.
Their DNC talking point line for all their personalities makes them only CNN lite.

I sent him a message as well. It would be great if lots of us did.

DONE. THANKS.
DEAR SIR,
It appears to me that not only is FoxNews kowtowing to the puppet masters mantra of how wonderful SKERRY is, they are also trashing honorable, MUCH MORE HONEST men than SKERRY every thought of being or seems to have the capacity to be.
IT IS UNAMERICAN, DECEPTIVE, DISHONEST AND FAR FROM FAIR for Fox news to trash the well documented 220 Swift Boat Veterans historically accurate personal observations from close range of SKERRY'S misdoings in VietNam.
THEY DID SERVE WITH SKERRY, though, mercifully, not on his boat.
PLEASE INSURE THAT THE TRUTH IS SHARED AND THAT THE SWIFT BOAT VETS HAVE A FULL AIRING OF THEIR HISTORICALLY ACCURATE AND HONEST FIRS PERSON OBSERVATIONS of SKERRY'S violations of regs; violations of honor, Machiavellian manipulations of the system and other illegal and dishonorable actions in Viet Nam.
IF SKERRY dares to build his reputation on Viet Nam service as though it were wonderful, when, in fact, it's a pile of horse biscuits--anyone complicit in such a lying farce will be accountable to the people and more importantly to God Almighty.
You may feel very lofty and powerful in your position and you are. You are still not so great as to be able to buck God's justice and judgment.
Sincerely,

"You weren't on the same boat." Aparently one of the Kerry/DNC talking points. The lawyers use nearly identical language in their threat letter to the TV stations.

Remember, as before, there is always a possibility of Divine Intervention!
To: Awestruck
You know, the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that Fox's management is probably preparing for the strong possibility that the President is not going to make it this November and they are hedging their bets. If that's the case then everyone on this forum should pull the plug on them and switch to C-SPAN.

I wonder if the Swift Boat Vets can get ahold of Kerry's OWN WORDS and use them in an ad? Should I contact them about this or can we all just keep working to get these ads out?

The fact that Rassman wasn't on the same boat either should be stamped on Shep's forehead.

Ummmm Shep .. these are the SAME men in a photo that Kerry HIMSELF is using in HIS campaign adsThis point has to be made repeatedly. When Hannity et al have any of these vets on their television shows, they need to have the vets point themselves out in the group photo with Kerry.
The 'rats can try to trick the voters by saying these men didn't serve on the same boat with Kerry, but they cannot deny that these men are in the group photo with Kerry.

These boats operated in packs from what I am hearing. So though not always on the same boat, they could be within a stones throw quite often.
A stones throw is close enough to observe what's going on in my opinion and being within a pack of a group would make me consider that they served together in operations.
Plus it was said Kerry was the ONLY one out of 3600 to leave early.
My friend who served in Nam said the only time they allowed a person in command to go home like that was when they found he was dangerous to his crew and would get his people killed if he stayed.
The fact that he was allowed to go suggests the military didn't like his performance and let him go!
