Font size=5> ANTI-KERRY VETS GATHER FOR ASSAULT; BOOK CLAIMS KERRY WAR 'FABRICATIONS'
I don't think so. They will have a hard time surpressing this one. Besides, it will hype the ratings as both sides go at it.
Now of course when drunken driving records are dug up 24-48 hours before the 2k election by a 'Rat operative, that's all fine and good....
Everytime I think the 'Rats could not possibly give me another reason to be the first one at the polls on 11/2 to vote enthusiastically for W, they go and give me another reason anyway.
Frankly, maybe one shouldn't run for president if one has unpleasant things in one's past that a private eye might discover.
You got it. This will get all the respectful attention that the Gary Aldrich book got. Not to mention a campaign against "the politics of personal destruction".
NO WORK
NO VOTE
If that's not what the button means, then I have no idea either.
It ain't gonna help Kerry, that's for sure.
Whole lot easier for them in '08 if Bush is still in the White House
Somewhat more accurately, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth retained the services of a senior retired FBI investigator to interview eyewitnesses to John Kerry's actions in Vietnam and take depositions...
For those who don't know, John O'Neill's co-author on Unfit is Dr. Jerry Corsi, occasionally known as the freeper jrlc.
The book has obviously gotten Drudge's attention -- this is his 3rd major feature article on it in the last week.
So hey, are we having fun yet?
It's a union vote - group think ad. If you want to work, you vote Democrat. The trouble with that theory is that Edwards revealed the secret of their economic policy in his speech last week, they plan to cut government contracts to pay for their social programs, instead of raising taxes on the middle class. If they cut gov't contracts, they cut union jobs.

I think this book will get a lot of attention, because the presidential election is a big deal in the media and the public knows we still have time to do something about Kerry. By the time most of the Clinton books were published, Slick Willy was already in his second term. John O'Neill is a very effective speaker and he has a calm, friendly non-partisan demeanor. He's almost the opposite of Newt Gingrich in demeanor (not that I don't like Newt.) I've heard him on the Larry Elder radio show a couple of times and he's very good--calm, reasonable, friendly, smart, and very consistent and steady in his message. Kerry will get chewed up in a buzzsaw if he tries to argue directly with the Swift Boat vets. Most likely Kerry will eventually just try to change the subject, but O'Neill and his group will continue to chip away at Kerry and pull swing voters from his camp. Yeah, the typical Dem voter did no research on Kerry and is now suffering from "buyer's remorse."
I can't find any thread(s) on the topic at all over there, which is real unusually.
Maybe they pulled them
You are correct, but I think that the after-action reports and performance evals will be even more revealing. One of the swift boat vets said all the performance reports say "requires constant supervision." And if this claim about needing to get him out of combat is true, there's got to be some really bad stuff in those records.
I will have to try to get this. I doubt I can get it via interlibrary loan though since it is so new.
thanks - their ways mystify me.
I thought it would be funnier the other way...if you don't work, then you don't get to vote.
'But that would be wrong...'
bump to self to check out the fitreps
And I (and many others) will say this donor was a great american for saving us from a president who makes Bill "I didn't inhale" Clinton look like George S. Patton.
And I don't care if Al Capone paid for it, if it isn't true Kerry can prove it with his records, so let's see them!
Damn, now I really hope Salon goes down the crapper.
I can't believe they would do such a thing.
Salon might as well be an arm of the Democrat Party.
And they're headed in the same direction.
