Poll: No boost for Kerry after convention USA Today
DU is the Democratic Underground, a wannabe Free Republic for liberals. Except the posts are tiresome, banal, hate-filled, biased, prejudiced and basically reflective of the bulk of the modern Democrat Party.
Speak thee of THIS empty suit?
DUmb democrats. Of course that is a redundent statement.
I think it's the Democrat Underground
It might as well have read...
SCHNEIDFER: Wolfe, I'm trying as hard as I can to spin this into some kind of advantage, but I'm only human.
But there is a LOT of good news for Kerry. A LOT! First, it's a Sunday, so there could not be an election today even if the Republicans wanted there to be. Second, I can now reveal that the entire DNC convention was an ingenious plot to lull the republicans into thinking they were ahead, and by golly, it worked. Looks like the DNC brain trust is fiulled with geniuses. I don't know how anyone can look at this as bad news, as much as the republicans might want it to be! Wolf.
WOLF: Thank you, Bill Schneider. Obviously this history lack of bounces is precisely what the democrats want....
Don't cpunt your chickens yet. The dems are pretty slimey; especially if the Clintoons are in the scope of things.
The DU stand for the French national anthem.
The DU females also stand while urinating - the DU men prefer to sit.
"This is kind of stunning. I think Kerry must be coming across not so much as a liberal as an empty suit to people."
If so, then a lot of people have a totally accurate opinion -- in my opinion! I can respect a person with liberal views, if I respect their character and values, and fundamental patriotism. It's not even remotely possible for a reasonable American to respect John Kerry.
Also anti-military.
I don't see how those people can post about being pen-pals to our servicemen in Iraq in one thread. Then in another thread, cheer on the insurgents who attack them.
Stupidity.
If FOX/NEWS reporting a bump for Kerry?
Does anyone have a link?
The really good news is that the Clinton's want Kerry to lose.

To summarize:
Registered voters
Before convention, kerry 49 bush 45
After convention, kerry 50 bush 47
Even THAT is good news. Kerry got a 1 point bounce from the convention among registered voters, but Bush got a 2 point bounce. That means of the people who were knocked off the fence by the convention, TWICE as many said "nah, not buying it. I'm goin' for Bush". And Bush wasn't even there to refute Kerry's PR! Incredible!
And it's even better for LIKELY voters, not just registered.
Likely voters
Before convention, kerry 47 bush 46
After convention, kerry 47 bush 50
So among likely voters, a much more reliable indicator than registered voters, for those who the convention knocked off the fence, NOBODY went for Kerry, and ALL OF THEM WENT FOR BUSH!
They can spin this any way they like, that's front page, nightly news leading stuff. So check the New York Times, CBS, ad nauseam, and see if it leads. But don't bet the farm.

I second your Bwahahahaha...
And I raise you a mustache twist.
Uday is DU in Pig Latin.
BAW-HAHAHAHAHAHAH. These guys must get suicidal. You know, if they had just done the "hate Bush/red meat" thing, they would have at least rallied their OWN voters. HAHAHAHAHA.
Gilliam, what is "RCP Average"?
