My goodness, Biden's ego is huge.
Is anyone going to cover what a financial failure for Boston the convention was? I can't find much new with web news searches, but what little there is says major bust. Our local news reported most of our state delegates were back on Friday.
Brit Hume needs to work full time with no days off till the election. He is the best they have and we need him. Lets all email fox.
a steel rod up his ass.....
He can't start talking one America, then my letter I sent to the editor yesterday won't get published, LOL.
Here's my letter, I sent it (and posted it here) yesterday after somebody suggested we send the Kerry campaign chili recipes.
Subject: Two Americas
I listened to the Democratic Convention speakers, have paid attention to the Democratic campaign and have heard it mentioned several times that there are two Americas.
I wasn't quite sure what they were talking about, but I think I've figured it out.
From a recent AP article concerning a stop at Wendy's fast food restaurant by the campaign tour of Kerry and Edwards:
"Teresa Heinz Kerry, apparently unfamiliar with the Wendy's menu, pointed at a picture of chili and asked the cashier what it was before ordering a bowl. "
Could the two Americas be defined as those who eat at Wendy's versus those who don't? Or perhaps, it's those who are familiar with chili versus those who aren't?
I've emailed the Kerry campaign my favorite chili recipe, hoping that Mrs. Kerry enjoyed the chili, and now she'll be able to have her chef prepare it for her in her own home.
Newt WAS GREAT
Maybe W will rope-a-dope it out of him in the debates...something like..
sKerry: I'm not going to reveal my plan until I'm elected.
W: But John, you're not going to BE elected so this might be your only chance.
I hope you saw Peach's post about the fact that the Kerry/Edward/Afleck folks actually had a highend catered lunch on the bus. The Wendy's appearance was just for show.
Tim (MTP) found a poll showing Kerry had a bounce of a few points (K-47%, B-42%, IIRC). A Newsweek poll.
I don't think Wallace does a great interview, but I didn't think Tony Snow did either. They're both pretty soft in my book.
I will give Wallace credit though for that classic line at the DNC convention about Teresa's speech.
I have move Billy Kyrstal to the DNC mute button
You didn't mention the gourmet food waiting for them back on the bus.....at the cost of $200.
sKerry's concession speech will be his plan.
He's only so-so; he's no Tony Snow. Actually, I prefer a bland show host -- that lets the brilliance of somebody like Brit Hume stand out even more.
Heh..
maybe the dims can use it as their "catchy phrase" that they were looking for to exemplify their convention.
