Biden saying we are just now training Iraqi troops and police. Like, just this week. What a liar. Man, that is all they have.

These two are an embarrassment. The Kerry/Edwards campaign is allowed to question the President's integrity at every turn, yet when anyone simply questions these two on their record it is a "personal attack." Wallace weakly attempted to make that point to Edwards but let Edwards get away with the response "what we're doing is comparing and contrasting" or something to that effect.

That was a HORRIBLE interview! Wallace dropped the ball so many times I lost count. And sKedwards, in front of a national TV audience, didn't have anything new to say.

You must remember that the people who vote for Kerry are really not voting for HIM, they are voting against Bush....sad!

Uh oh. Nuance Boy is showing his stripes. Wallace asked him about saying "The President misled us on the reasong for going to war." Kerry said "No, Chris I never said that!" Wallace then showed him where he said it and Kerry responded "Yes, I said that, but you were referring to my speech. I never said that in my speech. I said 'I will never mislead you'".

That could rank up there with Terazzzza's not saying 'unAmerican', even though the rest of the World heard her say it and have the video to prove she said it.

lol

Alan Colmes is saying Kerry did two tours in Viet Nam. I don't think that is correct. Four months does not two tours make. Anyone else hear this?

Probably referring to when he came back and fought for the VC.

Matthew Dowd just had a hilarious line talking about Kerry's 19 years in the Senate: "The Lost Episodes"! LOL

We haven't got it yet in S.Fla but I'm sure Sen. f'ing is telling everyone the answer to every question is: "didn't you know I served in Viet Nam" if we could ever get him to run solely on his senate record he and his little "metro silky pony" are dead meat.

Dem analysts/defenders have been saying over and over (new talking point) that Kerry volunteered for 2 terms for a total of 9.5 months

Agree that this should be refuted. It is easy to do. Just pull up Kerry's fitness reports and document his service. His Gridley fitness reports show the dates that the Gridley was on station in the Gulf of Tonkin. It totals 82 days. Figures lie and liars figure. The Dems could combine the total time that the Gridley was on its WestPac cruise and add that to the time in Vietnam. However, during the WESTPAC cruise, they went to Australia among other places.

The way to handle fake promises goes back to 1948. We were in a recession. Doing a stimulus package to fix the economy was popular. The Republican congress had refused to pass Truman's stimulus plan to fix the economy.

Dewey proposed a similar plan that he claimed would fix the economy. To everyone's surprise Truman immediately agreed that the Dewey plan would work. Truman called the Congress back into session and submitted Dewey's plan to the Republican controlled congress. He publicly begged Dewey to work with him to get the Dewey plan passed. Truman said, "I don't care if Dewey and the Republicans get the credit... I want the economy fixed and NOW!!!."

Dewey did nothing but squirm and the Republican congress adjourned after 10 days. They adjourned with out passing the Dewey plan.

That stupidity cost Dewey the election. Even the Truman internal polls showed Dewey was going to win. But on election day, the voters went to the polls and elected Truman. Dewey was a fake and Harry had proved it.

It is very dangerous to offer a plan especially a secret plan and make it work. Nixon did it as did Ike. But it depends on your opponent not callling your bluff. Dubya is a student of history. He is not Hubert H. Humphry or Adlai Stevenson. Duya is a great poker player he knows when to call the pot. And the first debate will be a wonderful place to call it.

As Truman said so many decades ago, "The only thing new under the political sun is the history you don't know."

Sure, I'm seeing it as their new strategy.

That way, if an attack occurs, they'll blame Bush.

They won't pay any attention to the three years we've gone without an attack at home.

They'll just blame him.

Same reason they're calling for immediate implementation of the 9/11 report recommendations.

If Bush doesn't enact all of them immediately, they'll blame him if we have another attack.

I'll say this, I'm beginning to think, with the media on their side, the Dems hoping for and glorifying every bad thing that happens, that Bush has one heck of an uphill battle to fight. He definitely needs some divine intervention if he's going to pull this one off.

I'm not a pessimist at all, just overwhelmed at times by the "evil" that is the Democratic party. My husband believes Bush will win in a landslide but I think the electorate is pretty uninformed and swallow what they're fed, and what they're being fed at this point and will be fed for the next 3 months will be anti-Bush rhetoric.

Terri McAuliffe uses the 'two tours' soundbite in every appearance. Alan Colmes gets his info direct from the DNC because his interview questions on H&C are identical to McAuliffe's comments

****

I want to know about Bush's Texas Air Guard record before he went to Alabama - four years into his six year obligation. The braindead CSPAN callers need a little new info of rebuttal.
