I don't think Wallace does a great interview, but I didn't think Tony Snow did either. They're both pretty soft in my book.
I will give Wallace credit though for that classic line at the DNC convention about Teresa's speech.
He's only so-so; he's no Tony Snow. Actually, I prefer a bland show host -- that lets the brilliance of somebody like Brit Hume stand out even more.

That stinks, I'm sorry for you. I'm annoyed enough that we don't get it until 10 am here in the NYC aread. I can't watch McLaughlin anymore, but sometimes I do.
Personally, I thought Wallace did a good job. He only had 15 minutes or so, and he wanted to hit as many points as possible. He didn't drill in on some of the points he might have, but he went long enough to let Kerry and Edwards show they weren't going to answer the question. IMHO he did better than Tony would have, Tony going out of his way to be too nice sometimes.
