Did you read what I wrote about the speech?? I said it was a good speech marred by poor delivery, and I stand by that. And in the bounce prediction thread, I said it would be a 5 point lead, just outside the margin of error. I'm out there working for the guy, but understand this is not going to be easy, and people like you that just go "the speech stunk...kerry's a loser" do no good for the campaign, whatosever.
Not to mention that privatizing social-security is critical in the Gen-X and Gen-Y collective mind. His support base has been seriously eroded.
Said he will raise taxes (loses 20% of support base).
Said he will not privatize social security (loses another 20%)
Said he will not allow outsourcing, waging war on pharmacueticals and international trade (loses another 20%)
Not intent on defending America (loses another 10% of his support base)
He's history.
Frank Luntz's groups are frauds.
After 4 days, there is still that gap--what has Kerry accomplished in the last 19 years in the Senate?
All we know is that he served in Viet Nam. Ok. That was 35 years ago. What about the last 19 years?

Frank Luntz is a joke. The group is really dull. They are trying to pull this thing out because if flopped tonight.
Remember the guy on TV with those colorful sweaters who sold all sorts of crap? They'd show some slicer and then cut to the "audience" and all of the audience would be shaking their heads in amazement? Well, the audience was full of actors. What Luntz does is pretty close to the same.
That would definitely be helpful, but if someone can pull an image from tonight's telecast there was a moment after Kerry finished his speech which could also prove VERY damaging with 'swing' voters, I think. Did anyone else notice when Al Sharpton was standing right behind Kerry, as Kerry was waving and glad-handing, and for just a couple of seconds Sharpton held up a poster which said "Boot Bush" with a large boot on it. I thought it was "off message" for the supposed "national unity" speech that Kerry was trying to give and showed, once again, the nasty vicious undercurrents of the left that never go away, no matter how much Kerry wants to pretend to move toward the center. That kinda garbage plays well with the left, but I would think there are millions of people "in the middle" who would be rather disgusted to see the image of Sharpton, Kerry, and the "Boot Bush" poster that Sharpton was holding over Kerry's shoulder. If the LSM were honest enough to show that image on every front page in America I don't think Kerry's propaganda would get anywhere with the "swing voters." Can someone get ahold of that image from the broadcast and circulate it?
