Good analysis. I watched the whole thing too. The two things that surprised me and which I think were appealing were his "energy", and his very politically moderate tone
with a military empahsis. Yes it is very savvy, however I think GW needs to point out that what we heard tonight about "values" is not the true face of the Dems; elect them and we're in for a social erosion of massive proportions.
I was flipping and stopped on CNN, I knew they were asking for trouble leaving that mike on. What a stupid thing to do as you could tell the producer was getting madder by the minute. What a bunch of phonies. They want us to hear the background action and then are worried someone is offended.
Yes, he dropped the F bomb but you could hardly hear it.
Thank you, American! :-)
Seriously though, thanks.
I think a simple wave cap might do the trick for the hair pollution.
One last fashion note.........Elizabeth Edwards was wearing the SAME blue pantsuit that she wore last night.

Remember, most polls are calls made in the afternoon, and some the liberal networks will fudge the numbers for their agenda.
Sympathy vote attempt.
Frank Luntz group up. The majority of undecideds have moved TO KERRY.
Last night several were more anti-Bush tonight several said they were now pro-Kerry. They liked his passion.
Good grief.
They liked it when Kerry talked about his own military service. Those other guys need to get some commercials out.

ROFl. Same here.
By positioning himself as a moderate hawk on defense, he has essentially given up on the "Peace at any cost" crowd and may have handed Nader an additional 2 or 3 percent.
When given the choice between 1000 moderate votes and 10 extremist votes, it's always better to try to get the moderates. But since a sizable portion of Kerry's base supported Howard Dean because of his total opposition to the Iraq War, he may have lost quite a few of them without appreciably expanding his moderate appeal.
Overall a decent speech, better than expected. But it may have hurt more than he realizes right now. Let's see how Nader uses this opening.
It is these cells that will harvested.
Not all Calvinists are hectoring. Some of us calvinists are quite charming.
On taxes, Bush already has it won since the whole point of being a democrat is to milk the taxpayer; as for the other things, the federal government would do us a big favor if it just wasn't involved one way or another.
Yeah no kidding...he seemed out of breath to hit all the points.
