The Democrats think they will be able to claim they are for a strong National Defense and point toward Kerry's speech. The problem is, Kerry has a voting record that doesn't support it, the Democrats have a very long record of cutting defense spending.

Kerry claimed Bush misled us, there is no way for him to back that up. Kerry is calling for civility while he slanders President Bush.

This whole speech and the past 4 days have been nothing but a charade. They have 95% of the 6,000 Delegates opposed to the War in Iraq and John Kerry focuses most of his speech on building a larger War Machine. THE WHOLE THING IS A CHARADE
