Greetings, sir...MUD
"As they passed by, I called out the 'pallbearers' thanking them for reprising their procession of 3000 flag draped coffins that they had done after September 11. I then told them, "Wait, you didn't do that after September 11. In fact, you NEVER protested against Osama bin Laden!" I kept repeating, "You never protested against Osama" as they shrieked in fury at me for daring to challenge them so bluntly. One man came over and we talked briefly and civilly. He said he had survived the WTC attacks. I told him if my comments weren't accurate for him that's fine, but I was calling out the leftists for how they marched against America three days after the attacks and blamed us. As more groups of coffins went by, I kept repeating the same refrain to them, adding that they never protested against the first WTC attack in '93, nor the embassy bombings in '98. Repeating all the while, "You NEVER protested against Osama!"
Check out some of the comments on the thread.....Some losers prefer to just sit on the sidelines and complain about those who are on the frontlines, fighting the good fight!!

Love it, very clever.
I'm just sorry I didn't tell you that to start; but, sometimes pings to me get pushed down too quickly & I miss 'em.
Y'know?
Listen, reason I said what I had is because Barry's EOD appears on Volume 7 of the EMA series (~already hammering out #9 as we speak, too).
So, what was the last Volume# of the group I'd sent you?
...you may be in serious need of an "upgrading," my ol' friend. {g}
If LaVar plays up to his potential, I wouldn't be surprised if Snyder paid him that extra $6.5 million, regardless of the outcome of the arbitration. But until LaVar gains some consistency, play-after-play, he'll remain a very talented player who may not deserve the extra dough.
In any event, I look forward to watching this defense attack the opposing offense. With Sean Taylor, Marcus Washington and Arrington blitzing from whatever angle, I can see some huge QB decapitations in the Skins' future!!

Yep...and it was yer including that on yer last offering is what reminded me that the song needed FReepin'. Still, I thought it was interesting that I stumbled upon the fact that I had pinged you to the song almost three years ago. Great minds thinkin' alike and all that...LOL!!
"So, what was the last Volume# of the group I'd sent you? ...you may be in serious need of an "upgrading," my ol' friend. {g}"
I'll haveta go back and check, but I think I'm caught up thru #5 at least...I can always use more music, though!!

BTW...what's the latest on the move to Ol' Milwaukee?
That's great...hopefully, he's grown outta his "TheWorld'sGonnaEnd" stage...LOL!! His song is relatively easy to play and my voice has natural growl that mimics Mr. McGuire's, so I'm hoping to actually get this recorded this Fall!! Look out Limbaugh, here we come!!

BTW...anybody know when the next RTM is gonna be held?!
I don't know when, but I think we prolly know where it ain't gonna be...although I haven't been down there to see how those restaurants did. They're prolly okay aren't they?
LOL...yeah, we might wanna steer clear of Shockoe Bottom...MUD
You folks drying out any over there???
Yeah, but I heard this a.m. that damage in the area was estimated at $80 million.
Looks like Frances might go inland and miss us.
But Ivan is warming up...
$80 million??? YOUCH.............
I hope you're right on Frances. Those poor folks in central Florida.
This has been a very active season so far......and we still have 2 more months of it.
Talk about an election season with lots of hot air blowing!!!!!!!!
...I was really concerned.
12" of rain in 12 hours, though...amazing!!
FReegards...MUD
There are advantages to living in rural farmland with those kinds of rains!!!!
We had a similar amount of rain in a similar period of time last September that was not hurricane related.....there was enough isolated road floodings to close the schools because of impassable bus routes, but nothing compared to what happened to Richmond last week.
School had only been in session 2 days when that happened and so I'm really keeping an eye on Ivan, because school FINALLY starts on Tuesday!!!!
Well, no one was allowed down there until, what, yesterday or today? And that is only for clean up.
I heard that Bottoms Up will be out of commission for several months as well as Havana 69. Haven't heard about Sine yet.
Perhaps the RTM should be at Penny Lane again?
I kinda thought that might've been the source of your inspiration.
"Still, I thought it was interesting that I stumbled upon the fact that I had pinged you to the song almost three years ago. Great minds thinkin' alike and all that...LOL!!"
Great minds, huh. { :o) }
OK, I'll take that; BUT, I'd like you to tell me a couple things.
1) What year was Barry McGuire's song released.
2) What year were you born.
(~that oughta put to rest the "great minds" malarkey.)
You're a schmoozer, Mud...a real spinner who turns like a *top*. :o)
>So, what was the last Volume# of the group I'd sent you? ...you may be in serious need of an "upgrading," my ol' friend. {g}"
"I'll haveta go back and check, but I think I'm caught up thru #5 at least..."
If you've the Barry MaG cut than you're up to #6.
I'm going to finish #9 here within the next few days; so, there're *3* new ones you need if you're to be caught up.
"I can always use more music, though!!"
HA!
I'm sure you could.
But look, I've assembled a pretty sizable list of songs from which I must choose the ones for EMA Volume 9.
There's likely gonna be plenty "spill-over" to start Volume #10, requiring a minimum of work; since, choosing which songs to fit where is the time consuming aspect of doing these kinds of theme-oriented compilations.
When I'm finished with #10, I'll send you 7 through 10, at once.
OK?
A couple weeks (or so), max.
"BTW...what's the latest on the move to Ol' Milwaukee?"
What's to say?
My bride's staying at the executive quarters the corp got for her; while, I stay here waiting for the house to sell.
Given the time of year who knows when that'll be, except to say I won't leave this place unattended.
It'd quickly start to look shabby without the constant attention I give it...the equation looks something like this: LH(LOM)=BPITA (Large home x lots of maint = big PITA.)
Corp flips for round trip jet ticks so we can get together two weekends per month so we're apart for 2 weeks at a time. We do talk via phone everyday, though.
Was watching a program the other night detailing "Life On A Boomer" & they said when the sailors manning those vessels leave port on a cruise/mission, they're gone for 3 months at a time.
So 2 weeks sucks, no doubt; but, it beats the hell outa 3 months, too!
The time gives my bride a chance to emerse herself in the new job & her duties/responsibilities with a minimum of distraction from *moi*.
Plus, she & the realtor go out a couple times a week looking at homes; so, as much as I really don't like the seperation, the time's not being wasted, either.
In fact, gotta pick her up at the airport in 90 mins & I *do* want to get in a *good* workout, first.
...c'ya.
I'm purty shore me and the Missuz are more excited about this eventuality than the young'uns are...LOL!!
