Thanks fer yer concern...yeah, Gaston really laid a wallop on us, but aside from some basement flooding and my pager still not working (some underground service station is still outta order), we made it thru relatively scot-FRee!!

There are advantages to living in rural farmland with those kinds of rains!!!!

We had a similar amount of rain in a similar period of time last September that was not hurricane related.....there was enough isolated road floodings to close the schools because of impassable bus routes, but nothing compared to what happened to Richmond last week.

School had only been in session 2 days when that happened and so I'm really keeping an eye on Ivan, because school FINALLY starts on Tuesday!!!!
