"...Barry's EOD appears on Volume 7 of the EMA series (~already hammering out #9 as we speak, too)."

Yep...and it was yer including that on yer last offering is what reminded me that the song needed FReepin'. Still, I thought it was interesting that I stumbled upon the fact that I had pinged you to the song almost three years ago. Great minds thinkin' alike and all that...LOL!!

"So, what was the last Volume# of the group I'd sent you? ...you may be in serious need of an "upgrading," my ol' friend. {g}"

I'll haveta go back and check, but I think I'm caught up thru #5 at least...I can always use more music, though!!

I kinda thought that might've been the source of your inspiration.

"Still, I thought it was interesting that I stumbled upon the fact that I had pinged you to the song almost three years ago. Great minds thinkin' alike and all that...LOL!!"

Great minds, huh. { :o) }
OK, I'll take that; BUT, I'd like you to tell me a couple things.
1) What year was Barry McGuire's song released.
2) What year were you born.
(~that oughta put to rest the "great minds" malarkey.)

You're a schmoozer, Mud...a real spinner who turns like a *top*. :o)

If you've the Barry MaG cut than you're up to #6.
I'm going to finish #9 here within the next few days; so, there're *3* new ones you need if you're to be caught up.

"I can always use more music, though!!"

HA!
I'm sure you could.
But look, I've assembled a pretty sizable list of songs from which I must choose the ones for EMA Volume 9.
There's likely gonna be plenty "spill-over" to start Volume #10, requiring a minimum of work; since, choosing which songs to fit where is the time consuming aspect of doing these kinds of theme-oriented compilations.

When I'm finished with #10, I'll send you 7 through 10, at once.
OK?
A couple weeks (or so), max.

"BTW...what's the latest on the move to Ol' Milwaukee?"

What's to say?
My bride's staying at the executive quarters the corp got for her; while, I stay here waiting for the house to sell.
Given the time of year who knows when that'll be, except to say I won't leave this place unattended.
It'd quickly start to look shabby without the constant attention I give it...the equation looks something like this: LH(LOM)=BPITA (Large home x lots of maint = big PITA.)

Corp flips for round trip jet ticks so we can get together two weekends per month so we're apart for 2 weeks at a time. We do talk via phone everyday, though.

Was watching a program the other night detailing "Life On A Boomer" & they said when the sailors manning those vessels leave port on a cruise/mission, they're gone for 3 months at a time.
So 2 weeks sucks, no doubt; but, it beats the hell outa 3 months, too!

The time gives my bride a chance to emerse herself in the new job & her duties/responsibilities with a minimum of distraction from *moi*.

Plus, she & the realtor go out a couple times a week looking at homes; so, as much as I really don't like the seperation, the time's not being wasted, either.

In fact, gotta pick her up at the airport in 90 mins & I *do* want to get in a *good* workout, first.

...c'ya.
