I have not seen info on this, I am curious what was the explanation for his locker being cleaned out.

I have said consistently that if anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, its a serviceman or servicewoman. I kept an open mind about it but I hope he is vindicated and am glad most folks extended him the benefit of the doubt.

Good news indeed. I have to admit I was skeptical. I'm so glad Mr. Hassoun has been vindicated.
To: Chieftain
I, for one have not believed anything any different.
Go Marines!!!!!!!

Who are these unnamed sources, remember first reports are usually wrong.
Remember jessica lynch was a hero unit it was found out she was hurt in an a vehicle crash, and her unit had failed to maintain their weapons.
Cynical until the inquiry is released.

Way to early to make such a pronouncement in my opinion.
There is something wrong with this story, I can feel it in my gut.
And yes, I'm a vet. We'll see what the real story is soon enough.

As a side note, whatever happened to that kid holding the sign next to the kids, giving a thumbs-up? I think it was Lcpl Boudreaux? Did they ever determine if the sign was photoshopped, or what the original sign said?

I have known Race Bannon for a long time on FR, if he says his source is Legit then that is good enough for me.
I admit, I also questioned Cpl. Hassoun's loyalty and intentions. It now looks like he did what he had to to get away, and that he stayed true to the Corps and his Platoon Nates.
I apologize for any negative comments I may have made about Cpl. Hassoun and welcome him back. Carry On Marine! Semper Fi!

Well, this is certainly good news.
My only comment about this situation was that it was strange. I still feel that way, but that never meant it couldn't be strange in a good way.
To: Chieftain
Good news..."bump" for later...thanks!
