Look just at the eyes. Lots of stuff swirling behind those windows.

I mentioned on the initial thread Cortislim as an alternative to slimfast and its associated products. Gotten a ton of Freepmail about it.

This is an unbelievable result, a 1.2 BILLION drop?
Wow.

Unilever, meet Pepsi. They lost big due to Madonna, Michael "I like little boys" Jackson, Mike "I rape women" Tyson, and others.

This is very very satisfying to me.

This was forwarded to me via email this morning. Didn't know if you all had seen it:

July 12, 2004

Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager
John Kerry for President
P.O. Box 34640
Washington, DC 20043

Dear Ms. Cahill:

On Thursday your campaign hosted a fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall at which Sen. Kerry said, "Every performer tonight in their own way either verbally through their music through their lyrics have conveyed to you the heart and soul of our country."

I called on your campaign to release the performance that Sen. Kerry said represented the "heart and soul" of America so that all Americans could see for themselves what John Kerry thinks represents the "heart and soul" of our country.

Do most Americans in their hearts, think that calling the President a "thug" and a "killer" represents the "heart and soul" of our nation? We don't think so, but we think voters should decide for themselves by watching the celebrities John Kerry said captured the "heart and soul" of America.

Your Senior Advisor Tad Devine said that you believed that releasing musical performances "might violate copyrights and licensing agreements for the entertainers who performed and allow the Bush campaign to use the tape in commercials against Kerry and Edwards"

I have been assured that "fair use" rules of copyright would allow you to release the tapes of these musical performances to the news media under 2 U.S.C. 107. To allay the other concern you relayed to the news media, Bush-Cheney '04 pledges to refrain from using audio, video or transcripts of the event for any television, cable, satellite or radio advertising. We look forward to seeing this spirited display.

Sincerely,

Ken Mehlman
Campaign Manager

Thanks for the list of Unilever products. I'm boycotting them all until Whoopi is dropped by Slimfast.

It always amazes me how easy it is to find very good comparable products whenever I decide to boycott a company that is contemptuous of America.

Excuse me while I find a ledge to jump from.....

Give me a sec and I'll pad your fall with Stay-Puff marshmallows -

(I don't think we've boycotted them, yet :)

Lipton Tea (another of Unilever's products) continued to sponsor the Dixie Chicks' concert tour after the Chicks made their infamously disparaging remarks about President Bush in the spring of 2003. In fact Lipton parodied the public backlash in a commercial featuring the Chicks

My family switched to Nestea for just that reason. Amazingly, we like Nestea better! Just had never tried it before.

Thank you. Thank you very much. I could not get that first picture out of my head despite repeatedly slamming my head against the wall. There is a special place in heaven for you.

Thank you for this post. I emailed both Slimfast and Unilever as we did use Slimfast products in our home.

May Whoopi the slut be appropriately sent off to nowhere land.

That's a great email. I also tried, in the ones I sent, to point out that hating America and bashing our president just gives the terrorists a cause for joy.

I just bought a bottle on Sunday. So, once I use it up...I won't buy them again. But, that hurts. I like Suave.

Oh great, this means another drivelling screed from Tim Robbins or some other moron blathering on about a "chill wind" blah blah blah.

The only wind coming out of Tim Robins and Liberal Hollywood at large tends to not be chill, but rather, foul smelling and somewhat warm. Particularly after a burrito.

Excellent letter! Have you received a response?

Good idea to indefinitely boycott the entire company, by the way.

So please, although I understand the sentiment......it doesn't make it right. The original picture to Michael Moore was justified as it was in response to an anti-Bush, anti-freedom loving, anti-military propoganda film that painted our US military in a bad light. And now you are doing the same by modifying the original and applying it to Whoopi Goldberg who said absolutely nothing about the military. Her personal attack was against George Bush, but you are applying it to the Marine Corps. Although many, including me, might agree with the thought involved, it does not make it right. Pretty soon, another supposed "(un)official spokesperson" for the Marines will be applying the cardboard sign to Hillary, Bill Clinton and many others who disagree or are trying to hamper our efforts. However, the original sentiment towards Michael Moore will be lost and other the modified pics will not represent an official viewpoint of the Marines in general, or the Marines pictured here.

And I would ask you to dialogue with me, since I am the one who discussed your post, and not rely on the responses of others as justification. Just because many agree here (as well as I) with the sentiment of the picture, it does not make it right. Semper Fi

Sorry. Next time I post that, you can IGNORE it if you disagree. Also, please notice it was a LINK - not a picure ! That was with purpose! By posting as a LINK and with a disclaimer/WARNING, I left it to the individual whether or not to look, with WARNING. The warning being on that post:

"not very PC, not very nice ….."

It is NOT nudity and the language was even "censored" in the pic.

Fair enough ? Thanks. :^D
