Actually, I wanted to check it's legitimacy given the newness of the poster before I spammed my correspondents with it...gotta assume it's ok.

Kerry's 1998 committee assignments were Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; Commerce, Science and Transportation; Foreign Relations; Select Committee on Intelligence; and Small Business.
In other words, this document is not for real, because it conveniently has Kerry on the committee, even though he wasn't. I think that Daschle was only on the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee, not Armed Services, so his placement on here is a lie too.
Maybe this letter was sent by a bunch of senators, including key Democrats, to Clinton. But this letter is not what it purports to be.

This is getting confusing. Look at post #41 and follow the link.

Kerry wanted a war with Iraq because of Saddams WMD program in 1998.

In that respect, Kerry was right. It WOULD have shown leadership. However, Clinton was President, so there was no chance of that!

A little healthy skepticism is, well, healthy. But when I'm wrong, I'm wrong. This is legit. I just checked the Congressional Record, and the link on post #41 is accurate. I'm not sure why Kerry and Daschle signed it despite not being on the Committee, and in the CR version, by the way, Inhofe's name is spelled correctly. Nevertheless, it is all there, in black and white.
Here is a link to the relevant page in the Congressional record.

That exactly what I was looking for. You beat me to the punch.

I can't image any thing like this being put in writing by liberals, them signing their names OR using the word sincerely in anything they do. It was pro-Clinton in 1998. It was considered "really groovy" back then.

Maybe this letter was sent by a bunch of senators, including key Democrats, to Clinton. Good enough. They wanted war with Iraq over WMD's. That's the jist of it.

Thanks for the link, K. It is printed, and awaiting the magnifying glass...of course, I could always enlarge it, or use the adjusted version.
Has anyone sent this stuff out to the usual suspects...Rush, Hannity (on now), Michael Medved, Larry Elder, Hugh Hewitt, Al Rantel, Tammy Bruce, Tony Snow, Rick Roberts, and if you must, Michael Savage and Laura Ingraham? (They probably already know...)
