FBI urges vigilance for July 4

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A constant stream of intelligence indicating that al Qaeda wants to strike the United States this summer or fall has led federal officials to urge increased vigilance during the Independence Day weekend, but there is no specific threat of an attack timed to the holiday.

Yeah. Such comical errors are usually due to abreviated answering of a reporter's questions or sloppy reporting (and editing) by the writer (and/or editor) who does not understand the subject. No offense to reporters, I understand how both happen at times.

Hey JP! You always catch up on TM the more logical way by starting from where you left off and working your way to the end of the thread. I can rarely do that. I am reading backwards starting with the end of the thread and I often feel like I am caught in the undertow when I do this, i.e., I keep responding to newer posts and I take a longggggggg time to read back to where I left off the day or two before. I think I do this because I don't want to miss something currently in progress.
