Update:

IRAQ HANDOVER 'TODAY'

The handover of power in Iraq is to be brought forward to today.

A formal announcement will be made later today, Tony Blair said.

The informal announcement was made by Iraq's foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari.

The handover of power to an interim Iraqi government was supposed to take place on June 30.

Mr Zebari said the deteriorating security situation in the country was one of the reasons why the date had been brought forward.

"We will challenge these elements in Iraq, the anti-democratic elements, by even bringing the handover of sovereignty before June 30 as a sign we are ready for it," he said.

He added: "We have made some very good progress in terms of the new security council (in Iraq) and the return of sovereignty to the Iraqi people to take away the level of occupation we have suffered a great deal from.

"There are many Iraqis who are standing up to the challenge. We are here to seek more help and assistance, training and equipment."

LOL! Don't hurt yourself by trying to think like the Dems. You can bet the DNC is getting the fax ready now. No doubt Chuckie Schumer is gonna get a call for being fairly positive on FOX this morning.

I knew something was up when I awoke around 4:30 and heard Steve and Brian on the air at that hour. At first I thought we may have captured or killed Zarqawi. Yesterday morning my 84 year old mother said she had a feeling we'd get him. (She's a fierce, little Italian who can silence a room with "the look" LOL.)

I was pleased to learn of the early turnover and even more so when I heard both Steve Doosey and former Amb. Mark Ginsberg call it stratergy!

Ginsberg: Iran had been encouraging this transfer. Pakistan assisting as well.
OIC—Organiz. of Islamic Conference—has been facilitating.

kerry can't do anything to stop this story

Lost Wallet

A guy was traveling through Mexico on vacation when, lo and behold, he lost his wallet and all identification.

Cutting his trip short, he attempts to make his way home but is stopped by the Customs Agent at the border.

"May I see your identification, please?" asks the agent.

"I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replies the guy.

"Sure, buddy, I hear that every day. No ID, no crossing the border," says the agent.

"But I can prove that I'm an American!" he exclaims. "I have a picture of Ronald Reagan tattooed on one butt cheek and a picture of George Bush on the other."

"This I gotta see," replies the agent. With that, Joe drops his pants and bends over in front of the agent. ! "By golly, you're right!" exclaims the agent. "Go on home to Boston."

"Thanks!" he says. "But how did you know I was from Boston?"

The agent replies, "I recognized the picture of John Kerry in the middle."

Yup. The administration sure put a real scramble on the morning news "heads." They all have egg on their faces. Here they were ready to go with the mm "love fest," and now the crock (documentary) is so out of date that its obsolete.

Can't wait to see them try to gear up for another way to run the ball. Sorry. The game is over. It's "morning in America", and if you are a journalist who wanted to "dish...." breakfast (and freedom) has been served.

I went to Wright Patterson Airforce Base Museum this weekend and guess what they have on display? The "Angel of Death" AC-130 Specter which is one of the reasons for this picture. I love it when a weapons system performs up to and beyond it's capability.

No commericals on Fox and Friends I didn't notice.

I bet that Jabba the Moore will be crying to the public, the media will not cover my story.

From the Iraqi blogs

http://hammorabi.blogspot.com/
Hammorabi
Update

The Iraqi interim government has just sworn now while writing this! Good luck and cut the sources of the terrorists.

The good thing is Paul Bremer directed his letter of ending the occupation to the Head of the Justice in Iraq and not to the PM. The law is above every one!
Good luck to Paul Bremer in his next carrier. Stay our friend Paul.

Breaking News

The handover of power completed in an official ceremony in Baghdad two days before the expected date.

Paul Bremer handed the official papers to the new interim Iraqi PM including a letter from President George W Bush about resuming the dipolmatic relationship between the two countries. This indicates that the Iraqis are indeed ready to take over.

The handover is a surprise for the enemies of the free and democratic Iraq. The terrorist may have been planned a major attack on the 30 July 2004. The earlier handover may have been aborted such an action.

Good luck for Iraq and the civilized people the friends of Iraq.

God bless Iraq and America and their friends and allies.

More details later especially about what the Arab Media said?!

When the new Iraqi government takes control of the prisons, those prisoners might wish panties on their heads is the worst that could happen. PC just went out the window in Iraq for anything the new government has control over.

I only saw in on (drum roll...) FreeRepublic while cruisin' the news.
Kinda steals a little thunder from the troublemakers. I hope that the forces that be can (will) chase them down. It was beginning to be rather noisy over here.

I hear there was some excitement over your way @ Victory/BIAP. Everyone OK?
