Im not sure if im posting this right but does anyone have info on an army guy from ohio captured a few months back. He was captured from the same convoy as the daity farmer from MS. I dont remember what if anything happend to him. thanks

PFC. Keith Matthew Maupin, 20 years old.
Captured April 9th, video released April 16th.
No word on his fate since then.
Yeah, just heard about him in reading the article concerning Cpl Hassoun. Maupin was mentioned as captured/kidnapped & no word on fate for over 2 months.
Supposedly, the group who initially captured the SKorean also have maybe 10 more captives under their control, per some reports last week.
I haven't seen a figure for the best-guess number of captives being held by various Islamofanatic groups.
Steve has asked me to write something here at FR to help keep Matt's memory alive and prayers that Matt himself may still be alive. I think he had in mind for me to write some sort of vanity but I am frustrated too.
His feelings of not being able to find Matt are symptomatic of what many many of our soldiers are going through.

Steve and Matt are both members of the 724th transportation company deployed from Bartonville, Illinois.

Sorry, I thought you were from Ohio. But it doesn't matter ... just know my thoughts and prayers are with Keith and Steve. I'm about to freep Steve.
