Christianity actually did replace brutality, and Jewishism did the same before. I think Buddhism also replaced a certain amount of brutality, and certainly Hinduism did. But Islam somehow missed the mark. We were incredibly bad before religion came along. The Islam terrorists don't seem to realize that.

Islam translated does not mean "peace", it means
SUBMIT.
Allahu Akbar translated does not mean "god is great" it means (OUR) GOD IS GREATER.
Among many other things, the glossing over of these important distinctions by our leaders is costing people their lives.

Nope. DU is saying it's "directly Bush's fault" for "stirring up the world against us."

I prefer buring their dead face down covered in pig lard, wrapped in a pig skin, and with a piece of pork flesh in their mouth. Or as I like to say "Jimmy Dean thier sorry butts."

I guess my father's generation who kept the japanese terrorists from subverting the war effort were unamerican. I guess all the people who correctly resisted the soviet infiltration of our government were also unamerican. Can't make an omlette if you can't break a few eggs!

They like to think of their 'religion' as their great cultural heritage. It is not. It is the great poison which has devoured generations of Muslim and non Muslim in pseudo religious wars from the time of the first 'prophet'. No culture sufficiently dealt with it, and in the last few centuries, they have enjoyed great latitude (cultural, social, territorial...). For this kindness and tolerance WE will pay now.
D.Sayer observed in commenting on the sin of sloth:
It is more than the laziness of mind and body, it is the total poisoning of the will to the place were we acquiesce to evil and error in the name of tolerance. It is a 20th century malady.

Only a few minutes earlier, that was a living breathing human being. A person with hopes, dreams, memories and solid life accomplishments. Now, all those intricate body systems have plunged into complete failure, terminated by the actions of someone who had no human empathy whatsoevery. Paul Johnson should have been allowed to live out the fullness of his years, perhaps to die quietly in his bed, surrounded by his family.
Instead, a brutal, unthinking ideology has slashed his head from his body, without a criminal charge ever being brought, or hearing, or trial, or review. Just the verdict, and carrying out the sentence.
Maybe "all" Saudis hate Americans. But hate is an emotion, and may be suppressed, in the interests of civil dealings.
And it did not matter that Paul Johnson may have been sympathetic to Muslims. The sympathy was not reciprocated.

I wonder if Aaron Brown will opine, "You cannot appreciate the scene until you see the pictures."

.....quit worrying about the press and let loose the dogs of war on these murderers. My thoughts exactly. Bush gets slammed on a daily basis by liberal vermin. Why the hell not just give them something to whine about. A good carpet bombing would not make Michael Moore hate him any more but it'd sure as heck make alot uf PROUD AMERICANS feel better.
WE MUST QUIT TIP-TOEING AROUND AND START USING ON THEM WHAT THEY'D USE ON US IN A HEARETBEAT IF THEY COULD!!

These savages are like living excrement. It is time to shovel them up and burn them.

I guess that makes up my mind. I won't accept that job with Aramco.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'm truly sorry for him and his family but when you accept employment in that area of the world, you are taking you life in your own hands. Most folks who do work over there do understand that by the way.
