Madonna is planning on changing her name to "Esther". She says that as she has gotten older and more mature, she thinks "Madonna" is no longer appropriate. Now that she's a mother, she teaches her children how to be responsible: they have to actually clean up their rooms and say "thank you" when someone compliments them and everything.
And please, no teasing.
Never mind that Esther was a beautiful virgin in The Bible. The most beautiful virgin given to the King (Esther 2:2-7).
Yep. That describes her perfectly
(Austin Powers voice here--"Raaaaiiiigggghhhtt...")
Everything in "Madonna", starting with the name, was engineered by the same people that designed the upgrade 20 years later, Britney Spears.
Poor kid.

She certainly looks older.

I think Madonna is her birth name - Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone.
Watching a woman enter a mid life crisis is always ugly.....
And her rose by any other name will still be as skank.
Queen of Babylon?????
I dont' know about changing her children's names. Unfortunately, "Moon Unit" and "Dweeble" have already been taken.
Doesn't "Madonna" sorta mean "Mother"?
Ester of the Bible??? I don't think she can come close, does anyone know what her REAL name is???
What's a Madonna?
It's Dweezil....

AHHHH!HAAAAA!HAAAAAA!HAAAAAAA!HAAAAAAAAA!!!
Stop it Madon-err, I mean Esther, you're KILLING me!!!!
Why don't you just call yourself the SL*T formerly known as Madonna?
Is she actually going to use this name regularly? When I saw it reported, I had the idea that it would be like a Catholic confirmation name... used in one's faith, but not every day. I don't know much about Kabbalah... how much is what I thought was to be her "faith" name actually going to be used?
She's getting as weird as Michael Jackson in her own way.
"Well isn't that special!" - Church Lady.
You're correct...I was in the doctor's office last week, and all they had to read was old issues of People...BTW, put a pic of Madonna next to one of Sarah Jessica Parker...they look like sisters..
"Queen of Babylon???"
Since Bablyon was in what is now modern-day Iraq, maybe she's got the hots for Saddam Hussein.
