Madonna is planning on changing her name to "Esther". She says that as she has gotten older and more mature, she thinks "Madonna" is no longer appropriate. Now that she's a mother, she teaches her children how to be responsible: they have to actually clean up their rooms and say "thank you" when someone compliments them and everything.
And please, no teasing.
Never mind that Esther was a beautiful virgin in The Bible. The most beautiful virgin given to the King (Esther 2:2-7).

it is obvious that Madonna Fraser was born way before Madonna Ciccione, and your claim is therefore false. I also personally knew two classmates named Madonna, and since they were born in the time frame of 1947-1949, it was obviously legal to name children that name in the late 40's. I went to search on the internet as I didn't want to make a statement that couldn't be backed up with a link.

Besides There is only one conspiracy here that everyone seems to be discussing - "The need to get free publicity" so Madonna (Or Esther or Louise or whatever) can sell more "bad art" and make millions more dollars, mostly off of people who believe she is "talented". If it wasn't so sad it would be funny...
That's why I find it hilarious whenever she does anything "controversial", It's all just publicity, good or bad, that generates interest from the "masses" and draws attention to her. I used to work for a large Entertainment company, so I am familiar with the M.O.
Please explain why it wasn't possible to name a child "Madonna" in Michigan in 1958.
(and why would that need to be part of a "hoax" since she certainly could easily call herself Madonna or have her name legally changed to Madonna if it wasn't, in fact, her birth name.)
