Something I've got to get off my chest. TERESA HEINZ KERRY
You'd think she was running for president, the way she criticizes, mocks President Bush, and speaks as an authority on policy issues, even the war.
Has anyone ever recorded a negative comment Laura has made about John Kerry? Just seems to me this point should be made.

Three weeks from today is election day.

"Three weeks from today is election day." I so need this to be over with and Dubya safely back in the White House. I could not watch one single talking head show last night. I opted for three Law and Order episodes in a row.

Yes, it's going to be a long three weeks, but we got a job to do.
I thought I saw a thread last night that Sen. Kerry said yesterday that he talked to Christopher Reeves on Saturday, but his family has said he had been in a coma since last Thursday.
If this is true, it should be breaking news. Of course the MSM hasn't said a word.

" thought I saw a thread last night that Sen. Kerry said yesterday that he talked to Christopher Reeves on Saturday, but his family has said he had been in a coma since last Thursday." I don't think that would bother Kerry. He would just talk and talk and talk. How would he know if someone is in a coma or not? (I mean no disrespect to Mr. Reeves, may he rest in peace.)

Looks like Imus (or probably Bernie) has been surfing DU.
General Discussion: Campaign 2004
LOL - Imus reading a list of GOP Chickenhawks

I saw that thread. It later got pulled with "unsubstantiated rumor" as the reason. ??
To: leadpenny
Imus is grilling Congressman Ford like Russert did to The Breck Girl this past weekend.
To: McGruff
Ford is OK but I don't see the special attraction Imus has for him.
Did you see this thread from yesterday?
10 Questions for Don Imus
Of course, I had to add my two cents worth.

Rush led off his show with this story:
'WHEN KERRY IS PRESIDENT, PEOPLE LIKE CHRISTOPHER REEVE ARE GOING TO WALK'
To: McGruff
This 'fair and balanced' sucks. Just listened to Linda Vester interview Mark H------ missed his last name, of Sinclair News. BUT I tell you it is a name that won't be forgotten - once I see it again. What a powerful speaker of truth. So straight forward and passionate in his words. Sinclair is putting on the Veitnam Vets Special
Then LV has to come on with 'fair and balanced' and have the dnc on. They put on a little Chad Clanton creep. He says it free and so its wrong.Where was F&B when Moore's pix was everywhere. Look how long it took to air anything on the SwiftVets and they are still not doing it very well.
Sinclair Broadcast a station to watch!!!!!

"They Better Hope We Don't Win" - Kerry Campaign Threat to Sinclair Broadcasting

Dayside - FNC Linda Vester is currentlly interviewing Chad Clanton, described as a 'senior Kerry campaign advisor.' Discussing the plans of the Sinclair broadcasting group to air "Stolen Honor," the documentary about Kerry's Vietnam war service, Clanton stated: "They [Sinclair] better hope that we're not elected." Vester immediately asked if that was intended as a threat to Sinclair that a Kerry administration would not renew their broadcast licenses. Clanton tried to back off, but the threat was unmistakable. These people are thugs. |

Associated Press (Via Drudge) ^ | Associated Press WASHINGTON - A Democratic senator said Tuesday he is closing his Washington office because of a top-secret intelligence report that made him fear for his staff's safety. Sen. Mark Dayton, D-Minn., said his office in the Russell Senate Office Building across the street from the Capitol will be closed while Congress is in recess through Election Day, with his staff working out of his Minnesota office and in Senate space off Capitol Hill. "I take this step out of extreme, but necessary, precaution to protect the lives and safety of my Senate staff and my Minnesota constituents, who might otherwise... |

News Quote of The Day
October 12, 2004
As NBC's Norah O'Donnell reports that Senator Kerry is spending the day behind closed doors preparing for Wednesday's debate, Imus interrupts, "What do you mean behind closed doors preparing - yet another position on all these issues. I don't get it. He either knows what the hell he would - Oh and by the way, if you talk to him tell him to stop saying 'I have a plan'. What's the plan? Stop saying 'plan' and tell us what it is!"
To: McGruff
This morning, Imus has twice played the clip of Edwards saying that under a Kerry Administration, C. Reeves would have gotten up out of his wheelchair and walked. Imus is left shaking his head.

This is your daily ping for Wednesday October 13, 2004
The 3rd and final presidential debate is tonight.
Wednesday on Imus:
6:29 - Joe Tacopina
7:29 - Sen. Joe Lieberman
8:29 - Rep. J.D. Hayworth
To: leadpenny
Every time I think the Imus crew has totally jumped over to the Kerry camp they throw me a curve ball.
BE HEALED
Edwards Stem Cell Vision: 'We will stop juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other debilitating diseases... When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going get up out of that wheelchair and walk again.' Edwards made the unprecedented campaign promises during 30-minute speech at Newton High School gym in Newton, Iowa...
Now this will be the talk of the town inside the beltway.
To: McGruff
I might switch to Imus in the morning because Fox is losing my interest. In the space of one hour I was subkected to that Sascha woman for the Rats, Joe Lockhart, and Elizabeth Edwards. Too much for me to bear, so I turned the TV off.
To: Miss Marple
Joe Lockhart looked like the sated fox in the henhouse as his segment on FOX&Friends ended. And why not? His lies went unchallenged!
