The hot topic for today seems to be the lamestream's media's jumping to conclusion regarding the Sept 11th commissions report on the link or lack of between Saddam and Al-Qaida.

Norah O'Donnell was on IMUS just now and she is still misquoting this single sentence in a 20 page report that

"There was no connection between Iraq and Al-Qaida"

when the facts are

"Saddam was not involved with Al-Qaida in regard to the attacks of Sept. 11th"

The Bush administration never said there was.

Bill Bennett, my hero, brought up a great point today concerning the 9-11 Commission's tone.  It seems as though they're belittling NORAD and the FAA for not immediately realizing what was going on.  Their 20/20 hindsight is appalling.

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm officially boycotting Imus - in the last two weeks he has referred to the Bush family as a 'criminal enterprise', President Bush as a 'religious fanatic', and stated that Secretary Rumsfeld is a war criminal. That's my Imus report!

I like the idea. It has been suggested before.

During the Afghan and Iraqi war we had Daily Threads. That was good because we could put daily info in one place.

You might consider dating each Daily, so the number of posts don't get too massive.
