Seems a president thing.
Does not strike me as offensive. If anything a relief. We lost a president, they lost a father.
To: lainie
Why do they carry him down the side of the stair where the guards are not standing? Anybody know? Mr Lacey wondering the same thing.

I was wondering about the kids too. Were they in the car? Surely, Nancy wouldn't be alone.

"Nancy looks so lost and lonely"
She looks so delicate, so sad. I cried when I watched her touch his casket on the Rotunda. She must miss him desperately.

The Reagan children will speak at the burial in California tonight.
To: hankbrown
I am curious why Reagan's children have not had more of a role in this proceeding. Any reason why they are not with their mother or are they are and I am not seeing them?
I understand they are to each speak later today at the California services

I'm so glad to be here with you all so we can 'hold hands' through this. Amen. I love the sound of the rain.

The rain is just way to symbolic. I am in NY and not a drop. Any rain anywhere else on East Coast now?

FNC hasa the backgrouund mic going, and listening to the lack of noise is incredible. I hear the rain, and the wind, and not much else, (well, when the mic is scrubed)
The only way I've learned about all this is through reading it all.
