LIVE THREAD--Reagan State Funeral Ceremony: Lying in State at the Rotunda (6/11/04)
do not watch abc cbs or nbc they are doing their best to make this their side. Thank God our local Fox is carring it so we can watch from here at work.
"Reagan ALWAYS wore his hearing aid in his RIGHT ear. That way, he NEVER had to listen to anything from the left.".
...slow and easy boys...
That's not appropriate.
They showed the Klintoons just a few minutes ago, milling about and laughing with a crowd of scumbag lib-demokkkRATs.
NBC is all I can get at work at the nursery.
Those stairs must be tough to navigate. Nancy looks so lost and lonely.
Now there are exterior steps that must be traversed to bring the casket to the hearse...Down they go, reverently and capably and strongly.
Oh, just one slight stumble by one guard--all is well, though.
ONe guy almost slipped on the stairs...you know they have to be praying..GOd don't let me fall or drop this casket
Set 2 of the honor guard about to take over.
Those lyrics must drive lefty athiests crazy! LOL
now i am all teary, love that hymn
They are descending the final set of steps now where the honorary pall bearers will join them. Nancy is there at the bottom waiting - appeared to be wiping a tear from her face. Hard to tell.
Nancy was getting nervous when they brought him down the steps. I know it's protocol, but she'd be better on a family member's arm.
You're right, Mo. She does look better today. Maybe a little more peace was brought her way through the outpouring of love she has witnessed from the public.
Probably best left to Kerry himself. No one is better at shooting himself in the foot.
The invidsible hand of God righted that young man's steps.
I think so .. before she looked really lost .. today she looks more like the Nancy I remember .. Very strong women she is
I'm praying the same thing.
Yes, the sailor almost lost it....yikes!
