Continuing to complain about it isn't really better... people are just commenting, making their thoughts known. You mean like I'm doing? The continued pokes and prods at the Clintons today remind me of children taunting other children in a sandbox.
Clintons don't rule anything.
Then let go of them. I'm sick of reading about them on Free Republic.

"Goin' Home" was one of FDR's favorites, and was also played as his funeral train left Washington DC for Hyde Park.
Rituals comfort us through the years.

Oh my Lord.
Bless his heart.
I hope he's still aware
of what is happening.
I reckon he must be.

When will you all learn, never watch anything but Fox. It will help keep your BP at a stable pace.

I've heard several discussion by Michael about his relationship with President Reagan. He loves his dad greatly. I always got the impression even during the 80's that Ron Jr. was a bit spolied. He definately doesn't share his dad's politics. I feel sorry for Michael this week though because Nancy has made him stand on the second row for all of the ceremonies.

I would have liked to have seen that.
Is Dan Rather behaving himself? I've had Fox on the whole time. They've redeemed themselves today.

I think this is one of the most moving photos I have seen all day. I remember not so long ago it was Ronald and Nancy waving goodbye to us...

I could not shed a tear during the week of my father's funeral. My grief was TOO deep to cry.Me too. I held my fathers hand when he passed and it was the most beautiful moment of my life. Very peaceful. I cling to that memory to this day.

You've mentioned them far more than I have. However, the point is that they were also participants in this event, so it's natural for people to comment on what they do, just as they were commenting on what everyone else was doing.
But hey, I know some people have this need to try and control what other people can and cannot say... I believe that is also one of those "Liberal" things you were mentioning.

The staff member or other close family friend who obviously knew whatever she said about Nancy answered that issue at the close of her segment. She disagrees with you.

I cannot figure out if this is a commentary thread where we remark upon what we see and hear ... Or if this is a memorial thread. It's the former. That's what a live thread is. Ignore the control freaks.

***I am so tickled to see that Nancy finally got her hands on that umbrella!***
I saw her trying to get him to hold it "right". The man holding the umbrella looks so young!
The man that escorted Nancy all week had a tough job, did a wonderful job. I saw he and Nancy talking a bit today. She looked glad to have the support. She looks soooo fragile, so I was glad he looked like he could hold her up if he needed to.
