A beautiful and memorable service, so uplifting and befitting of such a sunny soul.

They're rewriting the rewrite! LOL -- the left media is just too much for themselves to handle.

Your words brought a big grin to my small face. If nothing else. you have drawn strength as "independent" from the United States. I hope you achieve all of your dreams.

And not one person from the executive ranks, not one star, not one celebrity was there with us to honor his memory.

In an interview the other on on Scarborough County and man (don't remember who he was) said when he went to sign up & pay his dues at SAGA not a picture of Ronald Reagan was to be found among the past presidents of that union. He said he almost because obsessed trying to find one, going from hallway to hallway upstairs, downstairs, never to find one. As if all memory of RR was erased. He was amazed, but pointed out that is the attitude in Hollyweird...very Nazi-like while saying what inclusive people they are....

Old media missed the boat on covering President Reagon, but the PEOPLE knew, loved, and remembered him. They were the dumb ones, not the American people.

Haven't read her book. Hope you're right.

But from the sounds of what Michael was saying recently on Fox, he's seriously concerned about both her and Ron ending up in Heaven--that they likely won't without a change. He wasn't quite that blunt but it was his clear meaning.

It was the one gift he wished he could give his father--insuring that they accepted Christ's Salvation and showed up in Heaven, too.

He and She WHo Shall Not Be Named both looked horrible. I can't imagine that they were together last night . . . so, what were those looks for?

The did not look the least bit compassionate or in mourning or anything. Looked like it was a crimp in their day to have to be there.

Even in her, I'd say nearly wise words, she's in denial. She implies that there are "new things coming out" about Reagan. She still doesn't get it. Millions of us real regular Americans get Reagan so profoundly and she doesn't and never did. She wants to, so I'll have compassion for that. But to say it's new info just coming out is to miss the whole point, still. Keep trying Judy!

I think this funeral contrasted against the way the arab world has their "in the street funeral processions" really, really, demonstrates the significant differences in our cultures.

I thought of that as well.

Please see my commentson post #3023.

Thankfully today FNC is doing a fine job of talking when appropriate and silence when also appropriate.
I commend them and Hume for the perspicacity today.
No reason to turn elsewhere.

"The guy..."

Former President Ford.

BTW, did anyone catch Drudge's story regarding Kerry's comments about Reagan?

Sen. John F. Kerry took to the convention hall podium (1988), telling the delegates that the "moral darkness" of President Reagan's presidency will soon end.

"A Republican president once reminded us, 'There is absolutely nothing to be said for a government of powerful men with the ideals of pawnbrokers,' " Kerry said.

"That president's name was Theodore Roosevelt. And today Theodore Roosevelt would be ashamed to be a Republican."

Said Kerry: "It is time we once again had a government of laws and not of lawbreakers."

This has probably been mentioned, but . . . I thought it was extremely touching when Pres. Bush escorted Nancy to her seat. That poor lady. What a relief, in some ways, but what an exhausting week she's had.

Did I hear the burial tonight is going to be televised? (wasn't at first, but they changed their minds?)
