I hope she will write of this experience. I loved her tribute to her father earlier this week.

Swallowing a cactus is a terrific way of putting it.

"I love that this service is an unapologetic Christian service."
And did you notice that there wasn't any partisan political comments made, unlike what went on at Wellstone's pep rally, er...memorial service?

I think Patti is finally realizing that the world saw her father in a way she was blind to for so many years. It was only as his light started to fade, that Patti began to acknowledge her father's goodness and greatness.
She's more than redeemed herself in the way she helped her mother through recent years, and in the way she tore CBS a new one over the Brolin movie.

For other GREAT speeches by Bush, look up "Whitehall" and the 9-14-01 address here at the National Cathedral.

unlike what went on at Wellstone's pep rally, er...memorial service? I was glad when I heard Rush was going to play audio with side by side comparison to that. I wondered how long it'd take before someone did that.

Any dry eyes out there? No... I lost it when Lady Thatcher spoke, and again with Pres. Bush 41's and Pres. Bush 43's magnificent tributes. And that beautiful music...
