I don't know if you have lost a parent, but you are basically on autopilot for those several days. I hits you later. For me they were strangely both the longest and shortest days of my life.
Yes, the shock that follows the loss of a spouse or a parent is difficult to explain. It's almost a surreal experience.

Bill Clinton is definitely having trouble staying awake. When somebody sits there, weaving in their seat, their eyelids fluttering, half closed, that to me is somebody having trouble staying awake. And the old-timers, even Mrs. Reagan put him to shame.

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice story from the President about the boy who wrote asking for federal dollars to clean up his room. Reagan wrote back saying that the budget was tight so no money was available. But this looked like another opportunity for a civilian volunteer program, so congratulations. What a sense of humor that man had.

I dunno that it has much to do with the ROYGBV color spectrum. Could be. But whatever the combination and permutation maybe those UV bands or whatever appear as yellow, blue or red to the human eye. I still assert that there is some combination of UV bands that calls to certain pollinators.
Oh God, Battle Hymn of the Republic.
