I enjoyed the shot of ugly, sleeping Clintons. I think the poster who pointed out the fundamental problem for Bill: It isn't about him.

What was that last funny remark?

When the Communist world and America's enemies tested Ronald Reagan and both Presidents Bush, they acted with decisiveness. They showed clearly that they wouldn't take any sh**.
When America's enemies tested Carter, we ended up with our embassy hostage in Iran and helicopters that crashed in the desert. Ditto for Clinton, we ended up with the Trade Center bombing, embassy bombings, Blackhawk Down in Somalia, and the US Cole -- and eventually 9/11.

I was going to say he looks ill or hung over. He's not just dozing off.

"I think Prince Charles is napping also. Just saw a screen shot."
Nobody's asleep. People lower their heads and close their eyes frequently at funerals. Please don't lower the solemnity of this thread with silly nonsense.

The eyedrants--how aptly named. That's what it's been like for me for the past few days. It's hard to stop feeling all the love. We've missed him for 10 years and now he's back in these sad days and we remember our love and feel the tremendous loss.
All the people who showed up just take my breath away and I hope there will be a tape to buy because it is hard to see through all the tears.
God bless Dubya and his speech!

Reagan was a decent man. A great contrast to what came later.
To: dead
Ford, Carter and Papa Bush are all putting the Toon to shame. They are all years older than him and none of them are nodding off.
To: nutmeg
They showed him again ready to fall asleep. Then another quick shot. Oh, yeah. He had a big all-nighter somewhere.

Death smiles at every man. All a man can do is smile back.
General Maximus Wonder why Tony Blair is seated so far back? I wish he were up there with Gorby, Thatcher, Mulroney and Charles.
I agree! I wonder what the net worth of the combined attendance may be?
That goofy Bill Clinton Sleeping again.

I don't know if you have lost a parent, but you are basically on autopilot for those several days. I hits you later. For me they were strangely both the longest and shortest days of my life. I know what you mean. Tunnel vision.

None of the folks they had so far were trying to be all wishy washy about faith in Jesus Christ; they directly addressed Jesus in their prayers.
