I missed JK's question as I was getting over to the computer...all I heard was NO and a lot of laughter.

Which team is yours. I'll take a much needed break this afternoon as well, as the Texas Rangers will try to play a double header. They were rained out Tuesday and Wednesday night. They may not get the second one this evening before the rains come again.

MY GOD, I came running to computer
to see if everyone else witnessed what I saw!
YES! He commanded that Q and A with confidence
humor and such a directness that reminded it me of
President Reagan. I mean that seriously.
I am so HAPPY and proud and pleased with President
Bush.

I'm cable-deprived (by choice). What's going on? Maybe C-span will air it later .. it was great
He gave a speech about the talks at the summit and then did a question and answer with the press
He did a total smack down of the press

Got to see the tail end of the press conference, thanks to you.

I think he remembers how bad at times it was for Reagan; and realizes he is in good company. Hopefully he'll keep it up. Paying NO attention to the liberal left, and keep plugging along with his agenda. Too hell with the left. Hopefully he'll ignore his advisors; and do as Reagan did.

He said something to the effect of, "Prime Minister Blair will be holding a press conference later and I hope you don't ask him about the United States being on the ground alone."
LOL
I loved the look on 'ol David's pockmarked face after W said that!

I watched part of this. President Bush was a riot! I saw the Gregory smackdown. He also said something when he was calling his next reporter. Something like "I have some mandatory ones here, some of you I have to live with and some of you I don't" as he pointed to someone trying to ask a question. Classic.
