I presume others are watching.
That's because Lady Bird has had her happiest days after LBJ died IMHO. She took on beautifying America's highways with wildflowers and has done a remarkable job. Her life IMO was miserable with LBJ nothing like what the Reagans had.
Been to the Johnson ranch and it is beautiful as the house overlooks the Perdnales River down below.
You mean Kerry didnt propose the resolution? LOL
By some accounts, the White House was unable to hold a State dinner with matching plates, or without risk of breaking historic pieces. This wasn't much of an issue with the Carter administration, as they didn't do much entertaining.
At any rate, not a dime of taxpayer dollars went to the Reagan White House china, so it's nonsensical for liberals to drone on and on about it.
Really? That's beautiful.
Listening to Davis Asman this week I get the feeling that he truly loved President Reagan. I just wish someone would take the hook to Bridget Quinn. She annoys me no end.
True. LOL
The sitting President has to be onboard for it to be Air Force One. The 28000 refers to the planes tail number.
A great sign of respect and very appropriate.
In D.C. later tonight there will be a 21-plane salute. I can't even imagine.
After the funeral services, the body will be flown back to California for a sunset burial in a crypt beneath a memorial site at the presidential library. The memorial, a curved wall adorned with shrubbery and ivy lines, has a three-line inscription from Reagan:
I know in my heart that man is good.
That what is right will always eventually triumph.
And theres purpose and worth to each and every life.
There are heat index warnings for D.C., too.
It isn't on any of the stations here. We no longer have cable and never have I missed having it more than this week. I am so thankful to each of you who report on what is happening....and for the live feed photos. It gives me a feel and a visual for this immense and overwhelimg moment in time, this incredible honoring of a good and faithful servant to both our Lord and his nation. Gosh.....if we can have weeks of Abu Gar (whatever) and the prisoner humiliation, can'w e at least have ONE WEEK of honoring a man who changed the face and scope of the world.
"I'm not so sure. There are stories of couples who have been so tied to each other that they have died within months, weeks, days, even minutes of each other. I'm not at all sure that Nancy won't just follow her Ronnie once the glare of the spotlight is off her."
I understand what you are saying .. I posted a coment about my Aunt & Unlce here

President Reagan was her whole life but I do agree with Chris .. Nancy is a very strong women ..
Quinn is annoying! David Asman is about the only morning person I really like on Fox.
Amazingly nice words from Matthews...
Wonderful words for us all to remember.
That is so lovely!
Local Fox affiliate showing motorcade on the 101. Traffic cleared on one side, cars stopped with people out of their cars paying their respects on the other.
