Normally AF One is only called AF One when the current President is on board but today Pres Bush has designated the plane carrying President Reagan as AF One!

I'm not so sure. There are stories of couples who have been so tied to each other that they have died within months, weeks, days, even minutes of each other. I'm not at all sure that Nancy won't just follow her Ronnie once the glare of the spotlight is off her.
Course, Lady Bird has lived forever, so what do I know?
Chris Mathews thinks Nancy might look frail, but she will bounce back>

On Sunday night, Drudge wondered aloud if some of these gaspy wheezing anchormen are seeing their own mortality in the death of Reagan... the Dan Rathers & Mike Wallaces of the industry.

No aerial photos available since airspace and seas are under tight security.

Nancy's account of her father's passing will be in this week's PEOPLE magazine, which comes out tomorrow, I think.

Thanks. I figured but wasn't sure. Kinda wacky traveling on the freeway that way but I guess they do it all the time.

Mike Wallaces It's sad about Mike Wallace. I don't want to be hateful or evil, but the man reaaly should remove himself from the public eye now that his faculties have diminished so to speak.

Trace Gallagher on FoxNews states that a crowd of about 1000 (all base related persons) are there to watch. The base isn't open to the outside public.

I sure John Kerry will be there to cast his second Senate vote of the year.

On Fox the reporter said the sun is out for the first time in three days.
(I hark back to hearing on ABC radio news the other day that when Nancy approached the makeshift memorial of flags and items left behind, the reporter said the sun broke through the overcast briefly)
