When that pic of Kerry, hand over heart, near casket, was first posted by someone, it didn't have the original caption or credit. I wasn't sure it was taken by Jeff Chiu, who did take the other pic of Kerry inside (which did not show the casket).

They were talking about it on FR earlier today..about how the cameraman came in with Kerry and positioned himself to get a good view of Kerry.
Yes, but how do we know that it wasn't Senator Kerry's press pool following him? The assumption here has been that it was one of Kerry's minions filming Kerry. How do we know it wasn't the press?

An article an hour or so ago said the number was at 79,000 who have already passed through.
FYI, the CBS web stream link. I have to give CBS credit. They are showing continuously without any commentary:

"Yes, but how do we know that it wasn't Senator Kerry's press pool following him?"
That's the whole point. He said he suspended his campaign this week out of respect for President Reagan. So why was his press pool following him?

I just said on another thread that Clinton's display at the 9/11 Cathedral Memorial Service was the most boorish, disgusting behavior I have ever seen at a formal event. Did you see the Wellstone memorial? What Clinton did was bad, yes, but that night broke every known record for tastelessness. It did help get Norm Coleman elected, though.

That's an absolutely amazing photograph. "Thumbs up". He must think he got away with something.

The astounding lack of decorum in the Left gets more freakish every day. I've bookmarked this - won't forget this easily.

I saw the indignant Biden also. It was amazing the hatred and contempt he showed to Ashcroft. He was so evil I almost expected him to morph into satan himself.
I think most of the rage is due to the fact that they are not in power.
To: mystery-ak
He's a Roman Catholic, dontcha know!......making the sign of the cross....sheeeeesh!LOL. I'm envisioning Kerry making the sign of the cross, turning around quickly and slipping on a yarmulke, walking outside and saying, "well I never agreed with President Reagan before he died."
To: Miss Marple
He popped out of the "holding room" sort of like a cuckoo out of a clockLOL
To: firstiamaussoldier
Not in that picture, he doesn't. Find another way if you feel you must, but despite Kerry's shameful actions today, RWR's memory deserves better.

Any picture with his thumb back would do and you are right about using other pix...there are so many.
Imagine him tumbling off the bike and a crumpled KKK hat on the ground...
I just happen to be pissed beyond all recognition!
To: Dog
Kerry commented he meet more with President Reagan...than he has meet with President Bush....LOL - Reagan was also in the WH for eight years. Give Bush the same number of years in the WH, kerry might just meet with him as many times as he did President Reagan.

I don't blame you. I'm shocked and angry myself at his utter lack of class and character, though considering the source none of us should be surprised.
But we should hold Ronaldus Magnus above the fray.

I love your idea for a tribute to President Reagan.
A bunch of us decided we're all going to wear "Reagan red" that day. I've got my shirt all picked out and I'm going to add one of my flag pins to it.
To: Mo1
That lifts my spirits. CSPAN back to live. (CSPAN2 was showing it and they just switched.)
To: Dog
Did he cut into the 10 hour line of real people? Whatta jerk!
To: noexcuses
Fortunately I don't see any of President Reagan's casket in the Kerry photos.See post 412.
