I also remember Winston Churchill's funeral. It was in Westminster Abbey, and the coffin left London on a funeral barge down the Thames to the burial site.

I was 5 years old...and my mother had me watch the funeral and to this day I actually remember my mother crying when John John saluted the coffin...I remember it as clear as it happened yesterdayI think our 5-yr-old WILL remember; the 3-yr-old will like the horses!

Rush: DNC refused to have headquarters flag flown at half staff
Send a dump truck load of black jelly beans up to DNC HQ and dump it at their front door.
DC Chapter - here's a protest for you next week.

Brokaw's a jerk. Have the misfortune of seeing him in town every summer as he likes to come over to do some fishing now & then. The man is incredibly unfriendly and quite the elitist snob. You would think he would be smart enough to know to not boss around people handling your food.

"Rush: DNC refused to have headquarters flag flown at half staff."
What???? Simply unbelievable. No, very believable and foolish on their part. Their best strategy right now is ...
You didn't really think I was going to give them any help. Let them make their own choices.
To: Howlin
Thanks all to responding about the exact schedule. I believe that I will visit late tonight.

Martha on Fox drives me absolutely insane. Almost as insane as Dari Alexander did on Saturday afternoon. They should have left it to Linda Vester - she is really good.
To: Christian4Bush
But listen to this: On CNN the reporter at the library is saying that a lot of the people in line for the bus are YOUNG.....and some of them said that they'd never HEARD of Reagan until this and they want to pay their respects!
Can you say 'learning curve?"

what a total lie - Reagan saw the depression, he was not from a wealthy family - we need that slug Brokaw to claim he didn't know what a poor person is. This from a guy that leaves his 10 million dollar apartment and has a limo take him to lunch and to work in Manhattan every day.
