what a total lie - Reagan saw the depression, he was not from a wealthy family - we need that slug Brokaw to claim he didn't know what a poor person is. This from a guy that leaves his 10 million dollar apartment and has a limo take him to lunch and to work in Manhattan every day.
So true. He didn't just see the depression, he lived it. He turned 18 in 1929. No money in the town where he was from. I'm sure that by today's standards, it would be considered poverty.
I need some advice here. My son's college orientation is this Friday, all day. I was planning to go, but now I want to be home for the TV coverage of the funeral. What would you all do? Do you think that the funeral will be played over in its entirety another time? Many times? What would you do?
