Hollywood sources tell LA Weekly columnist Nikki Finke that former President Ronald Reagan's medical condition has suddenly worsened. "He really took a downslide today," the insider told Finke Friday evening. "Doctors are at the house. Things aren't good." At the start of the day, several news organizations chased down a rumor that the ex-president had died, but it wasn't true... Family members gathered at the Reagan's Bel Air home late Friday... I am very thankful that should this transpire soon, that GWB is president instead of the previous occupant of the office.
Regardless of our efforts to keep politics out of it, such an event will garner a lot of attention and sympathy for our side, and it will play a role in the election. We should not play this for politics, but we should recognize the impact that it will have.
Very sad if true. One does not get such leaders that often - once a century, maybe. God bless Ronald the Great and preserve his memory.
