please, I know you are well meaning, but do not politicize this.
I am praying that our Lord take President Reagan home as peacefully as possible, his work on earth is done.
I am very thankful that should this transpire soon, that GWB is president instead of the previous occupant of the office.
Regardless of our efforts to keep politics out of it, such an event will garner a lot of attention and sympathy for our side, and it will play a role in the election. We should not play this for politics, but we should recognize the impact that it will have.

I agree. I hate to consider the political aspects of his passing, but no doubt that the outpouring of memories, of praise, and of love for Pres. Reagan will overwhelm the efforts of the news media to suppress and spin his legacy.

Don't worry .. all the shallow, phoney dems will be there pretending to care, just to get their lousy faces on TV.

Chances are we will not play this for politics but the rats will start bashing him (again) and it will be Wellstone all over again. In that people will see (again) how crass and inhumane the rats really are.

He is a political figure. Everything about him is political. He is loved because of his politics, his political acumen. He was a great President and the left hated him just as they hate GW.
His death will throw the world into mourning and the left will react with their usual vitriolic poisonous venom. I am more than sure if President Regan thought he could help his party in any way he would be delighted to do so.
He has lived longer with Alzheimer's disease than most. Eight years is about the life span and on top of his illness he is very old. Nancy has certainly cared well for him. She is the one who will suffer the most when he passes. God Bless Nancy and Ronny, and the family.
