I'm sad and outraged at the level of ignorance in this country today. Aside from destroying our great country's advancements at home in education, the environment, civil rights, the deficit, and so on, the result of Bush and Cheney's self-righteous military bungling has produced no substantive progress in the war on multilateral terrorism - although it has produced over 800 American deaths, literally thousands of civilian deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq, and it has bred terrorism on an even grander scale. In other words, the religious Bush administration is still PLAYING INTO BIN LADEN'S HANDS. In dismissing the 9/11 Commission's Report, George Bush and Dick Cheney have put their entire religion-based agenda on the line in what can only be seen as an act of desperation.
I agree. I saw Moore last night on the tube (holding my barf bag!) and he was ever so grateful for the publicity the "right" is giving him.
Contrary to our usual tactics, we do NOT want to make a big public fuss about this that feeds into a news story.
