Some days it just seems like the whole world has gone nuts.

I live in Coral Springs FL. It sounds like some little punk kids that think their cute, Get a lot of that here. Lots of spoiled brats running the streets, while mommy and daddy are out trying to make enough to keep thier little darlings in the best of everything. ARG!!!

In the downtown area, thieves cut into a fence at Methodist Ambulatory to steal several tanks of nitrous gas, carbon dioxide, oxygen and compressed air.
"I can't imagine why they would want to take anything like this. I really don't know why. We only can suspect that they were using them to sell them," Methodist Ambulatory Operations Director Andrea De Leon, RN said.

Saudi Arabia (Country threat level - 5): Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a convoy of three cars carrying U.S. military personnel leaving the Iskan Saudi National Guard compound in southern Riyadh, the capital, on 2 June 2004. Gunmen reportedly shot at one of the vehicles and then fled the scene. One person was injured but there were no fatalities.
Hadn't seen it. Sure is a lot of activity in Saudi lately.

cgk- Could you freepmail me or post about what is going on in Philly? I've been trying to encourage my daughter to "take a vacation"-- at least for the next week or so.
Oh, you know, those attachments that police put on cars when the drivers are scofflaws.
Maybe it's only something that's found in big cities, like Chicago, which is where it would happen a lot.
But there is absolutely no way to drive a vehicle that's got one of those on one of the tires. It's going to sit, until you pay up all your parking/etc. tickets.
Someone suggested it as a way to prevent these gas tankers from being stolen.
