Thanks.

Chalabie sp? has long been suspect. They gave him their best shot. Solid information, if true, is sufficient. Hang him out to dry.

What the???

Autopsy found no bite-marks on snake death man, say police

AMERICAN police investigating the death of a Scottish businessman thought to have been bitten by a deadly snake said yesterday that an autopsy had found no sign of bite-marks on his body.

Computer programmer Garrick Wales, 48, from Kilmacolm, was found dead surrounded by vomit in a hire car near Little Rock airport in Arkansas on 13 May. Four highly poisonous snakes he had earlier ordered from a supplier in Florida were found in a box about half a mile away from his car two days later.(snip)

Just tell it like I see it, and you.

I think you'd do a better job of it but as you wish. May take until tomorrow or the next day, though. Please ping me if I forget.

Blessings to you and yours.

Thanks much for calling me, "friend."

A Russian scientist at a former Soviet biological weapons laboratory in Siberia has died after accidentally sticking herself with a needle laced with ebola, the deadly virus for which there is no vaccine or treatment, the lab's parent Russian center announced over the weekend.

Scientists and officials said the accident had raised concerns about safety and secrecy at the State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology, known as Vector, which in Soviet times specialized in turning deadly viruses into biological weapons. Vector has been a leading recipient of aid in an American program to help former Soviet scientists and labs convert to peaceful research

We can cancel the infa-red railroad device links!

Authorities say the electronic motion detector found in the Powellton railyard on May 5th -- setting off a flurry of investigation by anti-terrorism experts -- was placed there by a SEPTA employee for his own personal use.

SEPTA received word from the FBI that it was a SEPTA worker on the midnight shift that placed the device in the railyard near 30th Street Station, to alert him when his supervisor approached.

SEPTA director of security James Jordan:

"We have not completed our investigation, so we cannot say with certainty, but what we know now is consistent with him sleeping on the job, and setting up this device to be awakened as his supervisor approached."

Jordan says the worker also worked part-time for a security firm, which is how he came into possession of the motion detector.

The incident is still being investigated by the SEPTA office of inspector general, who is also looking into why it took SEPTA a week to turn the device over to law enforcement authorities. But, Jordan says, they are now treating the incident as an employee misconduct matter -- not a terrorism threat.

The worker, who was not identified, is still on the job but faces disciplinary actions that could include losing his job.

It not all that uncommon.

I've know 3 public school moms who told me that some kid in school had foot and mouth disease.

I thought it was a joke.

It wasn't.
