It not all that uncommon.
I've know 3 public school moms who told me that some kid in school had foot and mouth disease.
I thought it was a joke.
It wasn't.
Foot and Mouth disease is quit common. I freaked when my daughter was diagnosed. Apparently she put something in her mouth when she was playing outside. . .contagious, so of course my other kid got it. Childhood disease, ? dont think so. . .
