He's hoping that Nick, now that he's dead, will continue to vote for Democrat candidates.

Kerry probably asked him to appear as a prop with him on a stump speech. "Mr. Berg seated out on the front row presents a vivid reminder of the failed policies of this administration in Iraq ..."
To: marginoferror
Kerry spoke to him before he didn't speak to him and besides, just because Kerry made it known to the public does not mean that he wanted it to become public knowledge ... I think.
(Besides, this is George Bush's fault)
Did you know that John Kerry served in Vietnam?*

At least Kerry gave the guy two days to grieve before exploiting him. That's gotta count for something.

That filthy bastard. I'm going to give more money to the Bush campaign right now.

If he plays his cards right, he might get a prime-time speaking spot at the Dem convention.

I think it's more like the Kerry campaign and DNC paying the elder Berg to star in his spots, travel with Kerry on the campaign trail, or be given 5 minutes to bash Bush at the D convention this summer.
To: Spok
Kerry won't say when he met Berg's father? Could it be that he met with him BEFORE the video was released....

Kerry's grave-digging is the lowest thing I've seen in politics on the national level and that covers a lot.

"My son died for the sins of George Bush and Donald Rumsfeld. This administration did this," Berg said Kristin Breitweiser in drag....Hasn't the elder Berg supported A.N.S.W.E.R.? Another repugnant lefty who exploits the death of a loved one for political purposes.

Berg described the Patriot Act as a "coup d'etat." He added: "It's not the same America I grew up in."Yeah, I'm sure you're constantly being hassled by "the man" about what you check out from your local library.
This guy makes me puke.

"'that's private'" ... Zuckman asks 'why did you mention it on television?'"
Hmmm...sounds like "I actually did vote for the $87 billion...before I voted against it..."
Sounds like "I've met foreign/more leaders..." and then when asked who they were, "that's none of your business. Did you--did you vote for George W. Bush? That's not an answer!"
Sounds like "My wife is off limits in this campaign" when she is the one that is financing him (if indeed the interest payments on the loan that he undertook to keep his campaign alive could not be paid by his absentee Senate salary), and she is the one who says that Dick Cheney is unpatriotic (like husband, like wife)
Sounds like a movie quote that I heard in a Star Trek movie (VI), spoken by a Klingon prosecutor about Captain Kirk:
"This officer's career record shows him to be an insubordinate, unprincipled, career-minded opportunist..."
Of course, the LameScream Fraudcast Media will support Kerry...they have been for months now....173 days left of this...
So much for accountability and responsibility that he pledged if he were president (after opportunistically piling on the media "outrage" about the prison stuff). I would call it a "character flaw" on Kerry's behalf, but musn't one first HAVE character, before it can be flawed?
Just damn.

There's something rotten about the Nick Berg story. I think John Effin' Kerry should watch out who he associates himself with.
