"God forgive me but...I hope those responsible for this act burn in hell for all eternity but before that I hope they are punished even more. They are not human. They are not animals cause animals don't do this."
And I am waiting for the liberals and the press to show their outrage as they so appropriatley did with the hazing.
Tick, Tick, Tick...never mind. May they to burn in HELL!
Oh, that's right. For them heaven and hell do not exist.

Thanks to all of you. I did see some of the stills posted ofn FR and based on what you've all said I'm leaning towards the idea that I really don't need to see or hear anymore of it.

My question is this? Will this fire up the American people to stand with the Prez in this war or cause them to want to turn tail and run?

I'd heard about that. Unfortunately I can actually imagine what that omitted part must have looked like.
I wanted that whole region vaporized yesterday after seeing it and still feel the same now.

THAT is a good question. The lib spin on this is "this is what happens in retaliation because of the prison photos"...and if anyone knows ANYTHING at all, they would know that these "people", and I use that term loosely, would have done this with OR without those prison photos. This just happened to be convenient timing. They would have done it anyway. Guess no one needs to be reminded about the four that were burned and dragged through the streets before being strung up and having photos taken of THAT?? disgusting. I guess maybe a big sand hole wouldn't be a bad idea....

I guess the prison scandal is why the killed those Russian soldiers the way they did. Did you see the video where they held that guy down and semi-beheaded him? Their justification for these heinous acts change with the wind. The truth is that they do this for their own reasons, and even said during their Berg diatribe that this is about Islam vs. Christianity.
I don't know what it's going to take to wake up the Socialist Liberal idiots in this country. I'm convinced that they could do the same thing to a dozen liberal students from Berkeley, hang them from a bridge, and they'd still find a way to blame it on Bush.

The thing that's stuck with me about the thing--and I've only seen the badly corrupted and pixellated, low-bandwidth version of the actual beheading--is the sound. As Berg is screaming, the sick puds are yelling "Allah akbar" over and over again, not in unison, and the yelling drops in pitch and then trails off as they finally (literally) wrench Berg's head from his body. Sick as it is to say this, it sounds positively orgasmic. They sounded, I swear, like they were sexually excited as they killed that man.

Michael Medved already did; I turned off the radio. I don't need to hear it or see it to know that these were evil animals who need to be wiped off the face of the earth, post haste.

I predict it will fade from most American's memories within a month, if that.
After all, most Americans seemed to have forgotten about 9/11 and the 3000 butchered by bloodthirsty muslims right here in our own backyard.

I wouldn't doubt it. Looks to me like this is just one more example of how things haven't changed much since the 8th century.

No need to see or hear it to make it as upsetting as it can be. To show or play the audio is using the 'event' for political purposes, nothing more. It's also very disrespectful of the Berg family who would like to keep it off the air.
Not respecting their wishes - is nothing more than hurtful and shows a total lack of class. If it were one of my sons (27 & 25) I sure wouldn't want others using their death for political point scoring. If you thought Nightline was wrong, then this has to turn your stomach.
To: Kerretarded
Is it just me or is this lady sounding more than a bit rude, for example, on a follow up question regarding if he thought there were any "Bush Kool-Aid drinkers", her tone of "Give me an example" sounded more like "Yeah, right, you disagree with the president (HAH!)," than it should.

I am not sure it's for political reasons. I think it's more for American reasons. Let me explain. Last week, the US looked "bad" in the world's eyes. There was a young military woman pointing at a prisoner's crotch and laughing, etc, etc caught on film. Iraqis came out in droves to say what animals we all were. Now look at what we see. An unarmed civilian is being butchered in cold blood and it is somehow religiously GREAT! We frowned on the prison photos yes, but this type of act dwarfs that.
I see it as a defense of America to play this...though I wish I hadn't heard it... :(

Beyond a doubt. I'm just wondering if all the 'media/entertainment' types that have been using it for whatever purpose had the decency to get the okay from the family first. I doubt it seriously. They are using it for their own 'political' purpose and further violating an innocent American. Why/how is this any different from Ted Koppel? This is sleazy point making - for ratings.
To: OldFriend
no one "likes" to hear it. but everyone should, what good is closing your eyes and your ears.
To: reagan_fanatic
Not to mention the fact that no one ever called for or gave an apology for dragging the charred bodies of four Americans through the streets and hanging them from a bridge. How quickly we forget.
