It does not surprise me at all that Tennessee police called them "Israelis" to the media. When's their next KKK meeting, BTW? Or do they have to return to their group home after work? ...idiots. People won't know who they're really talking about unless they say, even in Tennessean, "Ayrabs."

The good thing is that it looks like you have no urge to head south. Hope it stays that way.

Tennessee had the good sense to vote for Bush in 2000. Can we assume from your critique that he was elected by members of the KKK?

Given how they have already charged them with giving false names, it is likely that the above names released by the authorities are their actual names. I dunno, how many Palestians are named Shmuel?
So it appears you are the one rushing to wrong conclusions based on stereotypes, and now come off looking like an idiot. But do you have the guts to apologize to the Southerners and police who you accused of being incompetent racists?
To: familyop
You appear to have a very distorted view of the folks in these parts.

Man, talk about stereotypes. Gald you are the exception rather than the rule on FR.
I live in East Tennessee, not too far from Erwin and find it a great place to live.

We Tennesseans don't appreciate people insinuating that we are all country rednecks, racists, or worse. We are not. We've worked hard for years throwing off the stereotypes of the past, and don't need you to tell us who we are. My wife is in law enforcement in the state, and I won't tolerate your accusations. I'm gonna stop now before I get really mad!

If it were not for the fine intelligent people in East TN Gore would be president. So I think you may need an attitude adjustment. Or are you just a Rat?

They probably had Israeli passports. There are many Arabs living in Israel. They could easily be al-queda (or an affiliate). Good catch Tennessee (despite your slur).

I resent your characterization of my great state.
If it were not for Tennessee rejecting Gore, and jerks like you, you would be saying President Gore.
Take you anti Tennessee garbage to some other site.

I'm from Tennessee and my entire life I only met one Klan member. There were more Klan members in Illinois than Tennessee ever had.

Yeah, we are just dumb as dirt here in TN. Maybe you could come teach us how to be sophisticated? Why don't you post your resume online in this thread so I can enlist the help of more sophisticated people to help me evaluate it? We really need the help of people like you to rise above our geography. Please help. Please.

Best watch your mouth, son.
As a former Yankee, I can testify that many more Yankees found the KKK of any great interest than the multitudes of Southerners I have known.
Israel may be the cradle of monotheic religions, but that does not mean every Israeli, old or new immigrant, has claim to a halo.
Moroccan and Russian "Israeli'" have quite a reputation in the new and improved international criminal sphere.
But I guess you being such a knowledgeable, superior,Yankee type person, you might not have ever have heard of that fact.
Don't worry, Bubba, Billy Joe and LeRoy will still take criminals out of action every chance they get.No matter what passport a criminal travels under, nor who calls them racist and bigoted for doing so!
It's a Southern thing.

Hey familyop,
Just for your info, the Majority of East Tennesseans were Union symphatisers. They raised several Dozen Federal Regiments fighting to restore the Union. There are fewer KKK members there than in many Northern States. That stereotype sickened to the point I registered just so i could reply to your uneducated stereotype. If I were you I wouldn't stay in the North. You might have a hard time making friends down here.
