You know what--what the MPS did was something that must be done. It's the pictures that shouldn't have been done. I think you got to break those SOBs and I think harsh times call for harsh measures.
I think this is being blown way out of proportion. I think the Enemy Within is working their a$$es off to cost us this war.

Duke Cunningham is the only patriot in the Congress--we are in trouble as a nation. It's a darn shame, Cunningham's the only one worth a crap in Congress-- what a national tragedy we are in.

At least it ended on a positive NOTE. IF the DIMS had the committee it would NOT have been so.

Jobs Up, but the Middle Class Squeeze Continues
John Kerry released the following statement on the new jobs numbers released today:
Any step forward in the job market is good news for Americas workers, but lets be clear: we still have a long way to go to get America working again. America is still in the worst job recovery since the Great Depression, with 2.2 million private-sector jobs lost in the Bush presidency, 8.1 million Americans still looking for work, and long-term unemployment at the highest level in twenty years.
On top of that, George Bushs economic policies are squeezing middle-class families like never before. Under the Bush administration, the typical American family is making nearly $1,500 less per year. And theyre paying much more for kitchen table costs the items that directly affect a familys budget. Health care costs have skyrocketed almost 50 percent, college tuition has gone up 35 percent and gas prices are up almost 25 percent. With oil prices about to hit $40 per barrel, families are going to be squeezed even more.
Instead of ignoring the problem and stubbornly insisting that America is on the right track, I have a plan to create jobs again in America. My plan will create 10 million new jobs and make America stronger by rewarding companies that create jobs here instead of moving jobs overseas, helping companies and families address the skyrocketing costs of health care, and moving America towards energy independence. With strong leadership, we can get America working again and build a stronger America.

Photos being taken and sent to the MEDIA!!! Isn't this something that one who regals in pornography would film. There is a character, who will remain nameless, that would pursue "weak" service people and set up this charade...

He can take it. He never sits down at work and plays racket ball at least three times a week after work. That makes me tired just thinking about it.

You are so right. I said to my husband today "Thank God we have the House and Senate or this would be an even worse disgrace".

Your comment is based on the premise that they wanted answers. The Senators wanted to speechify in front of the camera. Getting answers wasn't their main agenda.

Both Cole and Cunningham touched on the need for what I would deem an "early warning system" by which sensitive events are flagged for briefing up the chain of command. Such a system may exist already, but one scheme is laid out by Stephen R. Covey where he identifies tasks that are "important" and "urgent". While his system would need refinement, perhaps with a numerical rating by category: racial, drugs, sexual, prejudicial to the military or US, and perhaps a last one: inflammatory -- if released to the press. It's just an idea to ensure the Congress is informed/overwhelmed with the notification of potentially explosive issues our military must deal with every day.

I just did the same.

Well folks, T-minus seven minutes until we see three alphabet evening news broadcasts open with the creeps disrupting the Senate hearing with their anti-Rummy, anti-war chants.

If I was Rumsfield...I'd go get snot-slinging drunk.....
Congress only wanted their "soundbites" and chance to do what they do best.....blowhard. They accomplished NOTHING today. NOTHING. Except to humilate our military. I am so sick of the dims, dnc, and the media. They are tearing this country apart. November can't come soon enough. And seebs should be taken off the air.

Has anyone gone back and added up the job reports from the last 3-4 months? If you add up all the jobs added to the economy since January, wouldn't that negate the "2.2 million jobs lost under President Bush" drivel?
