Kerry was riding with Secret Service agents through Concord, about 18 miles north of Boston, when his bike hit a patch of sand and he fell, campaign officials said.
"He's fine. They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home," said campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.
Kerry was in Massachusetts he has a home in Boston enjoying a break from the campaign trail. It was not immediately clear on what road in Concord he was biking.
Kerry, 60, rides his bicycle as often as he can and sometimes brings it with him on the campaign plane.

LMAO! Reminds me of getting nailed in a crosswalk coming home from school when I was 10. I slid on my butt a half block. However I was initially wearing "good underwear". It hurt. I was wearing a Catholic school uniform, not Levis...

You're right, they do look unusually small. You know what the scariest part is? He thinks he's hot crap. He thinks he looks like a stud on that bike-- that is frightening!

I wonder if he can apply for a purple heart. Injured while on the campaign trail?

What is it about these Democrats when they try to do something athletic for the cameras; Klinton jogging with his fat thighs, and Kerry on his color coordinated bike. They always look like such dorks!

Didn't Jay Leno use this pic (football catching) in his little video showing Bush throwing a snowball at Kerry and Kerry flinching.

Here's my take-- skinny legs, oversized face and head and a penis the size of a clitoris!!Don't leave out...teeny, tiny FEET!
I think that for the rest of this week we should call him Pee-Wee.

I think you've got it! I get a little clumsy around that time of the month. Poor boy, probably has cramps. Doesn't
his butler carry anything for that?

Why don't you address the point I made?
Ok, Kerry is a putz and a clumsy one at that.
Was there a story involved that blamed his clumsiness on a pretzel?
It's a yes or no................
From my point of view, the issues that apply to what is best for Americans have nothing to do with prior military service, bike riding, falling down and blaming a pretzel, medals, national guard attendence, family wealth and where it came from, or vocabulary shortcomings.
Yet these are the issues that are presented for our consumption.
Does either candidate have a plan for replacing the Social Security Ponzi scheme?
Does either candidate have a plan for a reduction in the size and scope of government?
Does either candidate have a plan for securing OUR borders?
Forgive me for making fun of what is presented to us as important, but most of it is "not important".
Get it now?
