US Senator John Kerry, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, said on Sunday Israel's killing of Hamas leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi was justified because Israel "has every right in the world to respond to any act of terror against it."
"Hamas is a terrorist, brutal organization," he told NBC's Meet the Press.
"It has had years to make up its mind to take part in a peaceful process. They refuse to ... and I support Israel's efforts to try to separate itself and to try to be secure."

Stopped clocks.... Nonsense. Kerry has no credibility whatsoever. The man's a pathological liar. If he gets elected somehow he'll continue the Carter/Clinton Mideast policy of appeasing Islamic terrorists.

"I voted for the 87 Billion Dollars before I voted against it"
Kerry is a diabolical, Comie, Socialist, Lefty Liberal Liar.
They have done nothing for this country but whine, whine, whine since they not only lost 2000 but subsequent Congressional seats and Governorships. they are not for this country. They are only for themselves and all the other mindlless wankers that want to be cared for from the womb to the tomb.
With all the anti-VietNam rhetoric he had which demoralized our wonderful american soldiers how could he even be so exact on backing Israel. Come on America. Wake UP!!!
God forbid he should ever get elected, Israel can kiss the sacred butts goodbye.

Ooops, looks like he just lost the Arab vote.So....to whom will they go now? To Nader?
Al Jazeera seems to think so.

If George Bush or anyone here on this board, think that somehow, Jews are going to vote Bush due to his(or kerry's)Israel policy, well, you'd have to be pretty ignorant about Jewish "values". I'm sorry ,but the overwhelming majority of jews are still bleeding heart liberals. The old ladies in Florida still think that FDR saved the country, and care only about free drugs(which they aint getting). The Jewish baby boomers by and large are still living in the 60's...they believe.any war is like Vietnam, no lawsuit is frivilous, affirmative action is moral(yes...somehow, we jews who were getting raped by cossacks and murdered by Nazis should feel guilty about slavery and racism).and most Jewish younger folk believe that Israel is an evil aggressor.
While I support Bush's stand on Israel, I hope he didnt take it to get Jewish votes. The Wolfowitz's, Kristols, and Perles of this country are a tiny minority within a minority....believe me, I know.

Kerry was actually pretty tough on this. And yet, only a couple weeks ago, he was complaining about Bush (the CPA) shutting down Al-Sadr's newspaper (which was inciting the murder of Americans) in Iraq, because Sadr was a "legitimate voice" and had only "recently" become more radical.
It's nice that Kerry thinks Jews should be allowed to agressively defend themselves. Now if only he would allow the same for Americans!

It is interesting that this is one issue that Kerry has decided he ought to mirror whatever President Bush says and does. He does not wish to give the pro-Israel voters any reason not to vote Demodog.
Very interesting, in my view, given all the other issues he is taking such opposing viewpoints on. The real problem is that this stance does not logically mesh with other stances he has taken on other terrorism issues.

Your analysis of the state of the presidential race is excellent, I believe.

Thanks. Even the most optimistic (for Senator Kerry) poll shows that President Bush leads JFKerry 51.5% to 41.5% in the states that GWB won in 2000.
Folks, that's "Game Over" for Senator Kerry. That alone gives President Bush an 18 electoral vote win in 2004...and that doesn't even touch on President Bush's lead over Senator Kerry in JFK's "must-win" states of Pennsylvania, Oregon, Iowa, etc. VP Gore won those states back in 2000, but that wasn't enough. Senator Kerry may even lose those states and suffer an even larger loss than Gore, the way that things stand now.
Senator Kerry has now announced that he is cutting back on his political ads by 50%, too.
And lets not forget, this time around the Democratic Convention is in liberal Yankee Boston...when ALL of what Senator Kerry needs to win is in the South, Heartland, Mid-West, etc.
If this was an old 1980's sci-fi movie the screen would be flashing "DOES NOT COMPUTE" for Senator Kerry's current campaign strategy.

He's trying to get back the Jewish vote!
I think there are already earlier comments from him about the brutality of previous hits.

This would be the flop to his previous flip. The flip was his statement on NPR when Hamas was only "sort of" a terrorists organization.

Maybe Zell deserves credit as an honest dem but Kerry deserves ZERO respect. Kerry is a liar and can not be trusted.
Kerry is a dishonest lying democRAT and he needs to take his massoftwocraps ways and stuff them.

"Finally, one statement from Kerry that makes sense. Unfortunately it's probably just based on Kerry wanting to pander to the jewish vote after recently meeting with Hillary. After all, Kerry has no core."
Tomorrow, he's probably going to discover that he has Palestinian ancestors and renounce Israel. Then he will announce Yasser Arafat as his presumptive Secretary of Defence. Perhaps also Hitlery as his presumptive Secretary of Health and Education - oh wait, she would be upset with the title of "Secretary" - better make her Kingette of H&E.
