They didnt lay a glove on him. What is this obsession with libs about apologizing for things
Because then they could spend the next two weeks screaming about how 9-11 is all Bush's fault and take the heat off their heartthrob Bill Clinton. They do not want Bush to apologise, they want Bush to CONFESS. Unfortuantely for the DNC directed "News" media Ashcroft bitch slapped the 9-11 Comission across the face with the memo that proves the Clinton administration culpable and it IS SIGNED BY COMMISIONER GORLICH! Then Ashcroft dropped the OTHER bombshell, HE Unclassified it and what is more, he can unclassify MORE smoking guns if the 9-11 Commission doesn't clean up it's partisan witchhunt act.

You clearly missed the point of my post and the different types and manifestations of intellegence. But missing the point is another way for you to reveal your smarts to us here.
Of course that also indicates to us whether or not we should believe that you could easily accomplish all of those things if..... BTW, your claim that you could easily become president of the US if you daddy were wealthy, powerful and influential is further evidence of how smart you are or aren't.

I am not FOX, CNN, or MSNBC, but IMHO this was one of Bush's finest hours. He showed compassion, strength, and unbelievable clarity in his mission to stay the course in the fight against terror.
Part of Bush's mission tonight was to send a message to Iraq, to our soldiers who fight, and to the families of those who have fallen that their sacrifice is not in vain. No one in their right mind should question his resolve again.
I got chills when Bush said freedom is not our gift to the world, it is the gift from the Almighty to the world. But it is our responsibility to help. (I don't remember his exact wording right now)
I am so very proud to call George W Bush my president and my American hero!

Actually, I could do all those things if my dad were as wealthy, powerful and influential as his. Easily.ah. yes, i know your type. i betcha you have a long story to tell about how you have been victimized, how everything that is wrong in your life -- and i bet that comprises most of it -- is somebody else's fault. the boss's son who was promoted over you. the grand projects never finished with somebody else to blame.
Bush wouldn't last two seconds in my industry as he fails to communicate, as well as project a persona of authority (among others).
if that's the test, you wouldn't, either, in that you have communicated only that you are the sorry specimen described briefly above. your inability to communicate -- which does, after all, require cogent thought -- is demonstrated by your f.r. page, the only sane response to which is the devout hope that you are in the thrall of strong drunk or illegal drugs, because then there is hope through rehab.

It *is* possible for the enemy to be correct in criticism.
When they say Bush=Hitler, they are crazy. When they say he isn't sharp, they are correct.
Many at FR are guilty of deification.

I am a confessed DUer. Having said that, you guys kill me beating up on Susan Estrich. Me, too, and I'm only a lurker on DU (to get the opposing view). Doesn't appearing on Fox mean she's eschewing partisanship in favor of intelligent dialog? Or am I missing something?

Did he really? Well, that explains a few things...
The scary part is, the SATs have been dumbed down in the past decade so the educational slide isn't so apparent. Nowadays Wellstone would probably have scored in the 600's.

President Bush is anything but a dullard. He just stood up in front of a very hostile press and handed them their lunch question after desperate question. He stayed the course and proved what a real leader he is.
To: tubavil
Bush IS NOT any where near smart. I would guess an IQ of 85-95 Me think your the dumby....flying military jets is extremely difficult...before you're even allowed to learn....you should see the testing that goes on....
I have a friend that wanted to fly military jets. Gone through 4 years of college, never could pass the test....and he is a smart guy. Graduated with honors. Hmmmm!!!! Bush aced that test. So tell me again; how dumb Bush is?

Agree with you. It's almost a sign of normalcy to be a bit nervous under the lights etc. We all have met the slick fast talkers whether at timeshare pitches or eight years of Clinton. Maybe he's just tired.
