WHEN is ENOUGH gonna be ENOUGH this is a battle of good and evil

It is obvious that this country will never unite together even when there is a man in the Whitehouse that is trying to keep AMERICA safe. George Bush's biggest mistake besides some of the liberal spending social programs is not getting rid of the Clinton kenite(evil sons of Caan) left over's. We are fighting our very own war of good and evil right here on the US soil the democratic liberal party are truly our biggest threat to our own safety, Americans(conservatives, christians etc etc etc) need to wake up and reach out to everyone they know and make this clear that these people are not our friends not concerned about our safety and have truly become evil these ppl. must be defeated. The comments of Senators like Biden that we need to turn control over to the UN should simply tell you where this party is headed and our country if we allow them to have control. The fact that I can watch a 911 commission try and blame this terrorist World uprising on a man that had the reins for 8 months and not hear one word of crtizism or blame on who had the reins for 8yrs. tells you where were headed. Wake up Freepers and get the word out even if you dont like alot of what Bush has done with the liberal programs and spending we can not allow a Democrat back into to power for along time to come with the times we now live in. We are in this mess because of lack of their understanding of the true evil that is trying to destroy us and it's gonna take a MAN of GOD to understand that.

We are "in this mess" because our true reason for being in Iraq was, and still is, politically impossible to admit.

We ~had to have~ a permanent military base in the middle east, and Iraq was the obvious choice. -- And we will stay in Iraq until the Middle East crisis is resolved, regardless of the 'party' in power in DC. -- Bet on it.

Right now the crats are making political hay by loudly opposing the Bush policies.
-- If elected, their tune will change, some new 'crisis' will emerge and they will change their policy, and find that we must keep our bases in Iraq..

--- Nothing will change but the talking points on why we are there.
We are in the middle east to supposedly prevent a WWIII..

Lets hope the strategy works.

You know, I barely speak to the liberal members of my family anymore. I still love them, but it's really better this way. At holiday times, we just resolve not to speak about politics.

Noone is going to change any minds. So we have a nice meal and make small talk for a couple of hours. Then, we leave.

As far as liberal 'friends', I don't have any. Nor do I really want any. It's no big loss to my mind.

Yea, the circle of friends is smaller, but I know I could depend on any one of them when the balloon goes up. It's better that way.

I'd rather be in a fighting hole with 2 or 3 folks I could trust my life to than a couple of dozen folks of uncertain quality.

BTW, I love Shell. Thanks for that one RR. Mrs. L feels pretty much the same way. Lucky me, eh?

Regards and a blessed Easter to all of you.

Now, it's time to do some work on that AR I started on.

Taint a question of good and evil since the understanding of most people in the world today do no understand that evil exists. People think in terms of legal and illegal, strong and weak or right and wrong. I feel that the problem is more a question of backbone or whimping out which seems to be the message that seems to come across most often. In essence, don't hurt me and I'll leave you alone. Here take what you want but not hurt me. Take my property, take my wife, take my car, take my pride because I don't use it any more anyway.

I kicked a few friends to the curb when they became brainless shills for Clinton during the impeachment era. I don't miss them.

Also, I only date conservative women, or apolitical/nonpolitical women.

This country became permanently divided during the Clinton administration, there are two entirely different major views (as well a a number of lesser ones) about what this country is and what is best for it. Whether as a result of Clinton's tenure, or just that he was in office during the the period that it happened (the division), or both, I don't know. But the division is permanent and irreconcilable.

Sadly, I have to concur. It's like you cannot have intelligent debate anymore. There is a rabid liberal view that if you say one peep against them, they shout you down like you're a Nazi or something. Sure there are principled liberals out there still that really believe what they believe due to their convictions and yes, we would not agree with them, but they are not rabid about it. I guess one person I can think up who's like that is Alan Colmes. You might not agree with him, but he is a nice guy and won't shout you down or parrot some line they picked up long ago from the 1960's. Heck, last year when Gulf War II started, there was a case here in Pittsburgh where somebody tossed a brick into the Marin Corp's recruiting office.

As I see more of this, I figure what's the use in talking to them. On another thread, I posted where either they will have to "grow up" and shed the rabid liberalism or learn it the hard way be having something happen to them. Other than that, I see the rabid liberals as mentally and spiritually dead. That may look and sound harsh but after bantering back and forth with them, I'm forced to come to that ocnclusion. There's no room for debate with them, they want 100% or they will keep pounding at you. I think we might become like the "new-Israelis" fighting for what is right somewhere down the road. I remember as far back as the 1970's, my fahter kept telling me that "America will have another Civil War and it will be in your lifetime." I think really three things accelarated that, one, Clinton, two, the 2000 election, and number three would be the War on Terrorism. I thought after 9-11, we would all get together but after a while, we are more divided then ever.

It's tragic to be sure, but look on the bright side: our red zones have most of the guns and all the military bases.

All the blue zones can muster is harsh language. ;)

More recently two very close old friends have turned savage and vicious on our email exchanges using lot of personal insults directed at me. So far this hasn't resulted in the end of our friendship, which has deep roots, but it certainly has strained it.

I can not discuss politics with my parents, in their 70s who seem to have made the move from moderate Kennedy democrats to full on Kerry dems.

Well, it's like the old saying, "father against son, cousin against cousin, brother against brother." B-( Maybe my fahter ain't too far off but still I don't feel comfortable talking about it and even feel like when I talk about a "Civil War II" I'm a member of the "tinfoil hat brigade" but I can help but notice that things seem to be headed that way.

I thought after 9-11, we would all get together but after a while, we are more divided then ever.

My liberal co-worker hated it when 9-11 hapened, because it took so much ammo away from his liberal talking points. I remember there were several days where the liberals sparred among themselves to decide what should be the "intelligencia" position. They finally decided that we should unite against the evil of 9-11 but at the same time try to understand what it was we were doing that could make them hate us so much. (Remember, no real revenge, just self reflection.)

After a period, he went back to total liberal, opposed to war, and the Iraq war in particular, opposed to Israel, opposed to a strong military, and pro attempts to negotiate and appease the Islam radicals.

He still recognizes that we can no longer take the position that "we have no enemies" out there. And thus we can support the military again.

Well I'd like to meet a conserative man, get married and have as many brain washed infants as I possibly can. That will be contribution to the war effort. Either that, or move to some undisclosed location in the Caribbean or South Pacific.

Ah, but maybe it`s the way you were taught
Or maybe it`s the way we fought
But a smile never grins without tears to begin
For each kiss is a cry we all lost
Though there is nothing left to gain
But for the banshee that stole the grave
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess Singin' drunken lullabies

I sit in and dwell on faces past
Like memories seem to fade
No colour left but black and white
And soon will all turn grey
But may these shadows rise to walk again
With lessons truly learnt
When the blossom flowers in each our hearts
Shall beat a new found flame

Must it take a life for hateful eyes
To glisten once again
Cause we find ourselves in the same old mess
Singin' drunken lullabies

If you are correct America will fall and there will be civil strife here wait and see.
The Democrats are doing this over politics and it shows America's politicans for what they are. Crooked and self centered.
I may end up eating my words but if does come to armed confrontation I hope to live long enough to see it. I think once you take a liberals mouth out of the equation the only thing you have left is a coward. Then they will look for someone else to defend them and try to hide.

The second American civil war has already
begun in the Media. The objective is
to obtain control of the federal government
and the power therein. If the demokRatiks
ever succeed in disarming their opposition,
inconveniences like Constitutions and elections
can easily be dispensed with and
the killing can and will begin.

The Media is waging psychological
Warfare on you and on
the minds of your children day in
and day out.

The Media
is
"The Matrix"

Wake up Thomas,
wake up.

Anyone else losing friends over politics lately?

I have no close friends who are leftists, but I do have some liberal relatives including a sister who proudly claims to be "the liberals' liberal", knowing it tweaks me, and proudly boasts of her closeness to other relatives who are just so totally liberal! hah! We don't see each other often and only bear the occasional visits by not speaking about certain subjects which leaves very little to chat about. She usually manages to throw at least one zinger into the conversation somewhere. I ignore it and keep my thoughts to myself, but look forward to the next election when I can cancel out her vote. :)

By that standard, a LOT more blood needs to be shed in Iraq.

During the 4-month Finnish punakapina Civil War of January to May 1918 and that conflict's aftermath, about 30,000 out of a population of three million were killed- at least one per cent of the population, and some sources give numbers as high as three percent, more than would fall two decades later in the following four month Talvisota war of 1939-'40 when a million and a half Soviet troops invaded, in the opening shots of WWII, and a probable spur to Hitler's invasion of Russia.

Lives Lost
Whites Reds Other
Killed in action: 3 279 5 324 484
Executed, shot or murdered: 1 321 7 207 392
Concentration Camp deaths: 6 11 785 500
Capital punishment: - 125 -
Died after release: - 597 2
Missing: 42 1 818 116
Other causes: 173 695 536
Total: 4 821 27 426 2 030
Source:
http://vesta.narc.fi/cgi-bin/db2www/sotasurmaetusivu/stat2

If such numbers even minimally approximate similar results for such an event in this country, probably much less likely to be completed in just four months, given a population of 281,421,906 per the year 2000 census, we might expect between 25 and 30 million dead.

I think a lot more blood needs to be shed in America.

You reckon that'll be enough? That's going to be a heck of a grave registration problem for someone.
